Easy to flatten out, reacts to heat well like eva should.ngood quality eva, durable but easy to manipulate. Size Thickness is good enough to support itself but no so much that it's hard to heat shape.

Thickness purchased: 6mmI have a 28″ tall cylindrical drum that's too long for typical drum bags. I have to use an unpadded duffel bag. I figured the foam sheet could be cut into two ~28"×~36″ pieces and the cut piece would fit around the drum. It fits just right. Luck of the draw.I thought about getting the 8mm foam, but the 6mm seems dense and tough enough to protect the instrument from anything but a seriously nasty impact.The foam came tightly rolled and took a couple of hours to flatten out. After that it still retained some of the curl. The 8mm might have been kind of difficult to flatten.It wasn't hard to cut but I wish I'd taken a suggestion seen on YouTube: Use a fresh super-sharp blade in the utility knife. I didn't, and the cut was a bit ragged. Ideally you want to get all the way through in a single cut.Some foam products of other brands got reviews in which some users complained about the smell. This foam did not have any bad odors.

I bought this to make my own sitting pad for hiking. I cut it in half lengthwise, then accordion folded it into fifths. I used my clothes iron with parchment paper to set the folds. I used the other half to make one for my daughter. These worked great for our backing trip, both as a sitting pad, and underneath my sleeping pad to add R value and prevent slipping.

I had an experience with HD foam (85kg/m3), and this one is much softer.I literally have a real HD foam sheet in front of me and I can compare. Won't buy again here 👎

Used this for the back panel of a backpack and it gave it lots of support so good for what I needed. I was originally looking for padding for shoulder straps and waist strap (as opposed to support), and it was okay for that too, but this is not the soft foam they use for the squishy bits of a backpack; it's quite stiff and provides a good bit of structure. Worked brilliantly for the back and dividers between the laptop and main compartments, though.

Decent EVA foam. Feels nice and quality. Dimensions as advertised, though best to leave it to settle for a few hours after unrolling before cutting as it uncompresses very slightly and will throw any fine measurements off a little.Would buy again.
