I got this as a replacement for the pressure gauge on my Pentair pool filter. The old one had been pecked to pieces by birds who somehow love to peck at it -- to the point where the plastic cover fell off exposing the needle and making the gauge useless.This fit perfectly as a replacement and was very easy to install. I just took the other one off with a wrench, put a little Teflon (plumber's) tape on the threads and screwed this one in. Easy fix in less than two minutes.This one has a nice touch that the other one didn't have. There's a setting dial that rotates around so you can track when you need to clean your filter. It's preset at 10 psi from the "Start" arrow to the "Clean" arrow. For my filter, that's within the recommended range of pressure increase where you need to backwash the filter. Easy to see from a distance without having to walk over to the pump all the time.Decent price and works great. Hopefully the birds will leave this one alone for a while.

Not sure how accurate it is but we replaced the gauge the same time as the filter so I’m curious to see how it progresses. Good price for what it is and easy to read. I was disappointed with how large the head was as when I was installing it it scraped against the filter cover even after taking off the snap on frame piece. I was worried it was going to break it or simply not work.

Nice replacement for more expensive Hayward pressure gauge. Works like the OEM and for a lot less money.

These gauges are hit or miss on lasting more than a season, so best to order least expensive and just buy a spare

It's incredibly misleading that the only features this company thinks are important are "Easy to read" (it is!), "Easy to Install" (delightfully so!), and "Accuracy" (I assume so...but now it's filled with water so this is very much in question)...just passed the return/product support timeframe on this item and the gauge is 1/2 filled with water from the filter. That seems to be a rather problematic design flaw and one that is just as important (more important?) than those other markers of quality. I would be super upset if it were an expensive item but still bummed because I have to start the search process all over again.Photo attached...the water level has subsided a bit (from 1/2 to 1/3) after 12 hours of non-filter use.
