The pasta maker works fantastic! You will need to order moulds for ravioli etc. best thing is that it is one attachment with all three parts instead of three separate attachments. I haven’t tried the grinder yet but will update when I do. I would recommend and will be looking for spiral attachment next!

This set include two must have accessories to complete your KitchenAid stand mixer. The meat grinder attachment comes with five different types of grinding disk with varying size holes and patterns and comes with user guide to help recommend which grinding disk to use for making homemade sausage and burger patties . It also comes with a metallic push rod for safe meat grinding operation. The second wide use attachment in the set is a 3-in-1 pasta maker which can make three different types pastas - spaghetti, fettuccine and lasagna type flat sheets. You can with use of the both attachments make fresh Italian dinner from scratch using just one appliance which is your KitechnAid stand mixer. The cleaning and taking care of the attachments is very easy and can be hand washed with soap and water. The included brush with the set makes job of cleaning hard to reach crevices possible.In one statement you KitechnAid stand mixer is incomplete without this set.

I have only used the pasta roller so far, but it was a great experience!The attachment installs very easily and securely onto my mixer with no problems. The instruction guide has some helpful tips, but if you've ever rolled pasta before with a hand crank machine, it's pretty self-explanatory.One clear benefit over the hand-roller: you have a lot more control as a one-person pasta maker. Because the mixer is doing the work, you're free to feed the pasta into the machine and guide it out, so you can make much longer sheets of pasta.The attachment seems well-made and like it will last me for years to come. I'm really happy with it! I haven't had an occasion to use the meat grinder yet, but the pieces seem to be high quality.One downside: all the pieces are hand-wash only. The box is clear that the pieces shouldn't be put in the dishwasher. For the pasta roller this is fine; the pasta dough doesn't really get stuck to the attachment, so you can just let it dry out and brush off any crumbs (not much actual washing required). For the meat grinder, a thorough wash will be necessary after every use (raw meat!), which is more burdensome.

Such a great product. To start with the pasta attachment. I love it. All three pasta options are all on one attachment. The tool connects to the kitchen aid as it should. It’s a heavy piece but it still sits comfortably in the machine and the machine still remains upright. The dough feeds through the rollers so smoothly. It’s very easy to maneuver the whole thing. They’re always moving when you turn it on, and as long as you take your time with the size settings, it goes through smooth and does the job. Very easy to adjust the size settings. Comes with a great brush to clean out the tool, as it’s best not to immerse it in water. The brush gets into every crevice. Its a great way to make fresh pasta in no time and it’s so much better than a manual roller.The meat grinder is a great tool to have too. To be able to ground your own meat and to your liking is great. It’s easy to throw in the meat and it goes through with no problems. It’s able to do more than just meat you can add your herbs with the meat as you grind and it comes out beautifully. Also shred cheese with no problems. The attachment connects easily as it should and stays in place during use. It’s pretty easy to put together and figure out, even before reading the instructions. The tools are strong and cut through with ease. Every this comes apart I. Pieces making it easy to clean. It’s a great gift for the foodie with a mixer. I’m obsessed I’m so happy with this. And the price is right. It stands up to the name brand but the price is so much better.

A lot easier than hand cranking pasta and extends the use of my mixer.The meat grinder works well too. A little light duty maybe and I made the mistake of putting the tray in the dishwasher. So the finish came off. I broke a screen grinding meat because I had set it a bit too tight. Moving forward I just need to be more aware.Great time saver though and easy to clean
