I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this tool. It's fast, efficient, safe, instinctive, and relatively inexpensive. It saves me from needing to plan ahead and buy cubed steak from my butcher store. That is a huge plus for me. It's not overbuilt, but it is well-built. It features a good choice of materials and cleanup is easy. I can't think of any alternative uses for this tenderizer so it's kind of a one-function tool, which I tend to avoid, but because tenderized meat is so versatile it seems like more of a multipurpose tool. All in all, the only mark against the one I own is that the safe storage lid does not securely seat itself, so I have to pay attention when I am storing it. I can't just snap on the cap and through it in a drawer. Given how well the rest of the tool performs that one flaw is probably more annoying than it should be, it's just they were so close to having a perfect design.

For years now, I have had to tenderize my steaks, the hard way, using a sharp, pointed small knife, and putting thousand small cuts on both sides. Now that I have found this wonderful tool, it takes the place of 42 knives at once. So, this old lady would highly recommend this tool. Don’t forget after you have tenderized both sides to rub in whatever seasonings and spices you want to use on the meat and let it sit in a plastic bag in the refrigerator for a while and then let the meat return to room temperature prior to cooking. so easy, so good, so tender, that even my friends with dentures can eat the steak. And with the price of groceries going up every day, the cheap cuts of meat that are now available have become as tender if not more so than the choice varieties that sell online at about $40 a pound , so enjoy, bon appétit.

After my mum's arthritis got so much worse, in which result she could not prepare certain meat for supper, as she could not use the meat hammer, I thought I would show her this product, as I was hunting for this for a while for myself.. My mum is not so much a person who like to try a kitchen gadgets or new trends of old fashioned kitchen tools, but this picked her interest, (thanks to my convincing skills) so I bought this for her, and now it has passed over a year and it is still working perfectly, and she is using it almost daily and loving it.I would give it a 10 stars, if I could.! ;-)

Fa il suo lavoro, che è una operazione molto semplice. Tenete però conto che gli aghi sono ESTREMAMENTE appuntiti, e se durante la pulizia ve ne scordate (complice il meccanismo stesso della macchinetta) rischiate di farvi davvero male!!!fate attenzione
