We have not had a chance to use this yet, but it does seem to fit our kitchenmaid mixer just fine. Definitely a tool that will be useful in the future..

My old tenderizer had plastic gears that broke, rendering it useless. I saw this tenderizer at a great price, and ordered for my KitchenAid. It fits perfectly. What drew my attention to this one is the adjustable thickness tenderizing option. What broke the gears on my old tenderizer was running semi-frozen meat that was just a little too thick through--I recommend being very careful. I usually remove the cover as I am not afraid of the rollers, and am extra careful; I can better see how the meat is feeding through, and it give me a tiny bit more sideways space. The tenderizer is well made, and any concerns I had about plastic rollers was overcome. Tenderizers are easy to clean if you give them a rinse, a soak, and use a brush while turning the rollers. The result of having tender meat far exceeds the extra minute or two it takes to occasionally get it really clean. It is very easy to use, just set the width and feed the meat through. We eat a lot of cheaper cuts of beef and pork, and one of our favorite things is pork steak, cut to fit, and run through a couple of times. Literally melts in your mouth and is sooooo good! Hubby and I are delighted to have this tenderizer, and recommend it. It would make a great gift for anyone who has a mixer it would fit, and is far far better than beating with a spiked mallet type of tenderizer.

This Adjustable Thickness Meat Tenderizer Attachment for my KitchenAid Stand Mixer has made a huge difference in my cooking! It’s easy to attach and operate, and I love how adjustable the thickness is, so I can get the perfect tenderization for any cut of meat. The tool is solidly built and works quickly, making tenderizing steaks, chicken, and pork a breeze. Plus, it's dishwasher safe, which makes cleaning up afterward so much easier. If you love cooking meats at home and want to elevate your dishes, this is a must-have tool. It works perfectly with my KitchenAid mixer and makes the whole process much faster and more efficient. Highly recommend!

Seems to be built with quality in mind! It's attached to my kitchen aid classic stand mixer with ease. And the instruction sheet says it also fits the Cuisinaer SM50 stand mixer too. All moving parts functioned as expected.Cleaning varies. If used with less fatty cuts, it cleans up easily with a quick soak in hot soapy water and using the included bristled brush. But if using for fattier cuts, I HIGHLY reccomend giving it a soak and then rinse with water as hot as you can get it from the tap and let that run over it and then scrub with hot soapy water and the scrub brush. Repeat as necessary.Overall, I find this is an absolute must have in your kitchen if you have a kitchen aid stand mixer! I have an older commercial meat tenderizer appliance but this is much easier and quicker to manage in comparison to my commercial one and if only tenderizer a couple pieces of meat or smaller portions, it onky makes sense to have an attachment that meets those needs and is easier/faster to clean up!Very worth the cost!

I like the ability to change the thickness. Making all the meat the same thickness makes them cook at the same speed. Can't use it for chicken but it works great for other meats. I use it for my boneless pork chops.

I ordered this product for my husband. We've had good success with ordering attachments for our KitchenAid mixer in the past, and this was no exception. He used it for the first time tonight, to tenderize fairly thick boneless pork chops. The meat tenderizer attachment was easy to attach to the mixer, and easy to use. It did the job without the loud pounding when he has used a mallet in the past. I love that it's dishwasher safe.

Quick Overview: This is a meat tenderizer that attaches to your KitchenAid stand mixer and rolls your steak through like a piece of lumber through a planer. Simple? Yes. Effective? Mostly. Safe? Well, that depends on how much you value your fingers. It’s built like a tank, but using it feels like operating a jointer without the push paddles.Pros:✔ Simple to use. Attach it, adjust the dial (only three thickness settings), and feed your meat through—like a really unfortunate piece of softwood✔ Dishwasher safe & relatively easy to clean. After scrubbing off the embedded meat bits, I ran it through the dishwasher with no issues.✔ Incredibly efficient. This is the easiest way to tenderize a steak short of letting a herd of cattle trample it first.✔ Heavy-duty build. All-metal body, hard plastic rollers—this thing will likely outlive my tools. The only weak spot? The plastic safety guard.Cons:⌠Cleaning is a hassle. Meat bits embed themselves in the rollers like sawdust in a dull router bit. The dishwasher might have worked, but I had to scrape first.⌠Limited to ¾-inch thick cuts. And feeding a full ¾-inch steak through requires some force—force that brings your fingers dangerously close to the rollers.⌠Serious safety concerns. Technically, you’re supposed to use tongs. But will everyone? A single lapse in focus, and you’ll be tenderizing more than just steak. Treat this like a table saw for meat—safety first, always.⌠Not ideal for small portions. If you’re tenderizing a stack of steaks, this makes sense. But for just two? It takes longer to set up and clean than to use.⌠No poultry allowed. This thing only works on four-legged meats—beef, venison, pork. No chicken or turkey allowed in the club.Tips:🛑 Use tongs. Always. Think of it as using a push stick on a jointer. Your fingers have no business near those rollers.🛑 Treat it like a power tool. Keep your focus, respect the mechanism, and never assume it’s “just a kitchen gadget.â€My Take: This thing does its job. But so does a handsaw, and I still prefer a circular saw. The efficiency doesn’t outweigh the setup time and safety risks for me. I might use it occasionally, but I wouldn’t buy it—not when handheld tenderizers exist that don’t make me feel like I’m tempting fate every time I cook steak. If you go for this, treat it like you would any power tool: with respect, caution, and preferably all ten fingers intact. No Grandpa Joke—for the safety minded! As a Vine reviewer, I know my words might be the difference between someone buying or bolting from the "Add to Cart" button. Also, fun fact: I pay Uncle Sam about 40% of the product’s retail value in taxes—so trust me, I don’t sugarcoat. Here’s my rating system, boiled down:â 1 Star: Nope. Hard pass.ââ 2 Stars: Slightly better than a dumpster fire.âââ 3 Stars: Meh. Only if you’re desperate.ââââ 4 Stars: Solid, does the job, maybe even a little impressive.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 Stars: Love it! Would recommend (and buy again). When I talk pricing, I’ve compared it to similar stuff. No blind hype here—just the straight scoop.

When I first added the Meat Tenderizer Attachment to my stand mixer, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’ve always preferred preparing meat dishes from scratch, but manually tenderizing cuts was time-consuming and inconsistent. This attachment promised to streamline the process, and after several weeks of use, I can confidently say it has become a reliable tool in my kitchen. Its straightforward design and functionality make it easy to incorporate into my cooking routine without unnecessary complications. The attachment’s adjustable thickness settings are one of its strongest features. Whether I’m preparing thin cutlets for schnitzel or thicker steaks for grilling, the three settings allow me to customize the results to suit different recipes. The stainless steel construction feels durable, and the transparent cover is a thoughtful addition—it keeps everything contained while letting me monitor the process. Cleaning is also hassle-free, as the dishwasher-safe design ensures it’s ready for the next use without much effort. While I appreciate its efficiency, there are a few aspects worth noting. The attachment works best with larger cuts of meat, and smaller pieces can sometimes get stuck or unevenly processed. Additionally, it requires a compatible stand mixer, which might limit its accessibility for some users. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall performance and convenience make it a worthwhile investment for anyone who frequently prepares meat dishes at home.Pros:- Adjustable thickness settings for versatile use.- Durable stainless steel body with a transparent cover for easy monitoring.- Dishwasher-safe design simplifies cleaning.Cons:- Less effective with smaller cuts of meat.- Requires a compatible stand mixer, which may not suit all users. The Meat Tenderizer Attachment has proven to be a practical and efficient tool in my kitchen. It doesn’t claim to revolutionize cooking, but it certainly makes the process of preparing meat more consistent and less labor-intensive. For those who value precision and convenience in their culinary tools, this attachment is a solid choice.

My one real concern before I even opened the box was that since this device is not made by Kitchen Aid, it might not work on my stand mixer -- especially since my mixer is about thirty years old. In fact, it fits very well, and also works as advertised.I was very intimidated at first, both by the multiple safety warning included in the information that comes with the product, and by some comments from others who have tried the machine. Now that I have had it for a while, I am a bit less terrified, and able to focus more on the fact that it helps to save money by allowing me to make cheaper cuts of meat acceptably tender.Everything about this device feels strong and durable. After the first couple of times using it, I found that it is pretty simple. But the way those rollers spin really justifies all those safety warnings. I honestly think that this machine is not only capable of shredding the flesh from careless fingers, but even pulverizing the finger bones.I would like this tenderizer moreand use it more frequently if it had been made to work on thicker cuts of meat. That "0.8 inch" maximum thickness is pretty thin.I did not find that clean-up is a simple matter of rinsing the rollers under running water, and then putting everything in the dishwasher. For one thing, I do not have a dishwasher. And there is something about raw meat guck that is a lot like super-glue. I used to have a meat grinder that clamped to the edge of a table, and ran on arm-power. Cleaning its innards after use was much like cleaning this tenderizer, so I tried the tactic my mother taught me, and ran a slice of bread through, right after using it. The bread did pick up some of the meat guck. It also left behind some bread guck, so I'm not sure if that method is worth losing the slice of bread. It might depend on the type of bread.Even though this tenderizer does work as described, there are limitations on the size and kind of meat that can be used. And my Kitchen Aid mixer is a big, heavy machine that I love, but hate having to move. Maybe that is a "me" problem. In any case, for those occasions when I happen to find a (sort-of) deal on a tough cut of meat, I definitely prefer using this meat tenderizer over all that pounding with a mallet. In my opinion, this is a good product.

I got this attachment for my Kitchen Aid mixer, I was looking for a way to reduce the effort in making schnitzel, the kids always complained about the hammering!Pros:1. Easy to use, 3 settings start big, work smaller2. Easy to clean, disassemble and wash the rollers3. Turned minutes of smashing covered in wrap into 3 quick passes4. Love that its a metal unit, wont break anytime soon!Cons:1. Thickness selector backs off, I had to hold it in place for #2 and #1 quite often2. Would be nice to go a bit thinner, and finer teeth for PorkOver all, I am very pleased with this unit, it greatly reduced the mess and effort in making dinner. I would have preferred a bit finer teeth and a bit thinner setting for pork, but it worked well, the whole family was thrilled.
