This utensil is legit! Its weight makes it easy to use! The metal turned bad on my last one. This new one has a beautiful shine and doesn’t seem like it would do the same. I love it!!

Purchased for commercial kitchen use. I think this tenderizer mallet will last a very long time. Seems VERY heavy duty. Haven't had the chance to use it but I bet this mallet will do a great job in a commercial setting with heavy use. No longer have to worry about wooden handles getting rotten.

Great value. This is made of 304 Stainless Steel (look it up for info on just how good this is). Nice weight. Nice round pointed nub pointed for pounding your steak, etc. Long handle, curved to grip, and good balance with head of mallet. The area where the handle joins to inside the mallet head is spot welded with the same steel, so no food residue can get inside the mallet head...as that would be unsanitary, and hard to clean. This last comment was made as a negative by a reviewer earlier, but the company obviously saw that flaw and fixed it. This thing is just about as perfect as can be and well worth the money.
