Bought these for a young drummer. Perfect sound reduction for a small music room.

I've played practice cymbals that lower the volume but still retain some tonal character from their full-fat brethren. These aren't quite like that. Yes, the hats sound like hats, the ride has a semi-credible ping, and the crash ain't half bad, but these really are more for the practice room than they'd be suited as accent pieces in a live setup. These are thinner and slightly lighter than some practice cymbals I've seen. That's not a bad thing, since the thicker and heavier ones sound trashy, and not in a good way. These at least do a credible job. And I rather like the multi-colored finish. It doesn't add anything functional, but it's cool to look at, so... yay for variety.

- Quietness: 65% quieter than standard cymbals. - Crashes: Brighter than Resanito's, but with a slight, undesirable metallic pitch. - Ride: Noticeably darker and louder compared to Resanito's, similar to Eastrock's, but not my preferred sound. - Hi-Hats: Surprisingly pleasant, lacking the annoying metallic pitch found in Resanito's and Eastrock's.Overall Impression: The hi-hats are the standout feature in this set, earning it a 3-star rating. However, I prefer Resanito's set for a similar price point.Note: Quality may vary between batches, as observed in a subsequent purchase of the Resanito set.##############Adding reference reviews for other similar low volume sets.##############I've extensively explored low-volume cymbals on Amazon, ranging from the most affordable options to some of the pricier ones. Here's my personal ranking:1. Resanito - These are 70% quieter with a notably bright sound than Zildjian. Their hi-hats, however, leave something to be desired, but very accessible in price.2. Zildjian - At 80% quieter, these are a top-tier choice, however, they are fragile and pricey.3. Meinl Practice - 85% quieter. However, I was disappointed that my 18" crash didn't last as long as I hoped, but they do seem more durable than Zildjian's. Also, they are more dull in sound. Also, price should be lower than Zildjians IMHO.4. Eastrock - 65% quieter. They don’t have the brightness of Resanito but offer a pleasant darker low-volume sound.5. MECCANIXITY (this review)Now, for Arborea, Mosico, CYMBALS Store - and any other Stainless Steel cymbals: I'd advise against buying them. Their sound quality resembles hitting an cheap pot – quite unappealing. In conclusion, I'm on the lookout for a high-quality alternative to Zildjian and Meinl that doesn't break the bank. If anyone has suggestions, I'm all ears!

I wouldn't think that low volume cymbals could sound like this. The price is great also. I don't know what they are made of (I've seen some made of stainless steel) but these have decent body and rich overtones in the ringing, which make them sound as if they cost much more. They're more than adequate in a practice setting, though I can't really envision these working in a small live setting or in a recording studio. They look good and their silver color makes them a nice change from the regular gold color of most cymbals. These low volume cymbals will definitely help lower the volume in drum practice, keep your eardrums intact, and reduce the number of funny looks your drumming may get from neighbors.

I have two drum sets and each has low sound cymbals. These are very handsome and sound good, but seem too loud by comparison. My other set (brand unnamed) are more quiet.

Es un precio considerable para todo un set de platillos, para ensayar me parece que es una buena opción, esperemos que duren mÃnimo unos 5 años de uso, vienen con una funda sencilla, considero que cumple el propósito, un 60% o 70% reducción de ruido!
