This super-large, heavyweight mug / dish has become one of my favorites. As others have mentioned, it's really a bit too heavy to use comfortably as a coffee mug but it's a really, really great as a dish for serving soups, stews and any other food. It's well-made, attractive, and the mug doesn't get burning hot in the microwave while the food heats-up. The large capacity and handle make it perfect for heating leftover food in the microwave and then carrying to table without fear of spilling. I use this mug frequently and am happy I bought it.

First of all, know that the blue mug you receive is NOT the color of the mug in the photo!!! I was looking SO FORWARD to receiving the beautiful OCEAN BLUE color they pictured and advertised!!! Instead you will receive a PALE AQUA mug. If you like pale aqua, then it will be a good purchase. The mug itself is good quality and HUGE!!! It will be great for soup or any other hot beverage. Last night my roommate and I had hot chocolate, and b/c of the size of the mug, it took FOUR packets of Ghirardelli DOUBLE hot chocolate mix to make it taste delicious. Just be prepared to use at least 4 hot chocolate packages—perhaps MORE—and you will thoroughly enjoy this humongous mug!!! It seemed like we were sipping hot chocolate FOREVER, and that was nice. The only complaint I have is that the company advertised a specific color that WAS NOT DELIVERED. To me, that is just WRONG. But perhaps you will get lucky and receive the COLOR THEY ADVERTISED!!! It’s still a pretty mug, but not what I ordered.

I bought a warmer to set my cups on, so I wanted a big cup. I bought a cup but it only held one serving. I hunted one that held many more ounces. These held the right size for 2 or more cups. I found my drinks to last the mornings. The only thing I would alert someone to is when it is full, it is heavy. The handle is sturdy though. I also used this for soup, large enough to carry to the table without spilling!

This is going to be my new favorite mug. The dimension is great. It has some heft to it but nothing terrible. I have hand issues and had carpal tunnel surgery done over the summer and I can still grip this mug well. When filled with delicious coffee or tea, I do have to hold with both hands while sipping but I can pick it up with 1 hand.Things to know:The bright lilac/purple on the site is not the actual vibrancy of the item. It’s more of a muted tone.It does not actually hold 30 fluid oz but does hold 28 oz which would be right to the rim. (Picture shown had already had a few sips taken). Maybe you could put 30oz but it would definitely spill over and you don’t want that. 28oz is perfectOne of the mugs had a black spot on the rim. Not a chip in the ceramic but more of an ink spot. I’m not using the second mug (yet) and it may not bother anyone but me with my OCD tendenciesWhat I hope for future releases: the ability to have different colors in the 2 pack. Black & purple, purple & orange, purple & teal. Different color schemes in the pack would be awesome.These can be used for so many things. Drinks, soup, oatmeal, veggies, fruits, centerpiece! The possibilities are endless.If you like big mugs, this is the one you need!

It fits a lot of coffee so don’t need multiple refills while I am working. Liked them so much I ordered another set! Like the black color as it looks classy.

Update review, after I post my issue here I was contact very soon and the problem was resolved. Check my pic of the lovely mugs with my matching colour Pokemons. Perfect mugs. Highly recommend!I like the color and the size of the mugs but they do have problem. The glaze at the inner side of the cup is not even. You can see it and you can feel it when you wash them. This problem is not severe with the orange ones I got and it’s at the bottom of the mugs. You won’t notice it until you are going to finish your coffee or tea. The purples ones came late and I only opened them yesterday. I consider one of it as a defective one. After I opened the package I realized the glaze is so uneven they look like dirty print/scratches. It’s not showing well in the picture as in real life but you can still see it. Small problem outside also. This one is really not a good one. If they can make an exchange/ refund it will be better.

These are very nice but like another reviewer said you might want to measure out 30 ounces before ordering these because they are much larger than I expected. They are nice, the glaze is smooth and vibrant and well done. The shape is attractive, so they don't look huge. I wouldn't want to hold the mug unsupported when full for very long as it would be quite heavy but I like them a lot and will find other uses (like put stew in them or use them for noodle bowls). Good value!
