this is the 'Modern type, as opposed ti the older WWII/Korea/ Vietnam era style of brass bar, works fine as designed though.

I took it out of the package. Teied to slide my first ribbon on the rail and the rail snapped off. Welds suck. Unfortunately I couldn't get to my ribbons until now and return window close. I paid for trash

It works well enough to not differentiate too much from standard PX/Exchange standards for the uniform but it does sit a little tighter than what is “out there†and you have to be really careful not to drag or run the ribbons on eachother.

Out of the box, three of the 6 six welds were not connected, making the rack useless since it fell apart. I was able to glue it back together, but this complete lack of QA is unbelievable.
