Fun set to play with! There were no directions in the box but we figured out how to build it without so its not too hard. The Ballista actually shoots and the catapult actually works as well! Great set that the boys have strewn all over the house haha. They play with parts of this set all the time.The plastic is pretty decent and the horse riders actually fit on the horses.

You get plenty of soldiers to guard the castle. The castle itself is easy to assemble and it’s very durable and sturdy so it doesn’t need a base for support, although it should so you can be able to store all the Calvary, soldiers, and horses.. No piece isn’t flimsy at all.

Ok so this isn't that fancy of a set, but where it ends up being so much more is in the imagination realm. You end up with a very small yet functional castle. I think it is important to point out that if you have a child who is interested in medieval history or mythos then this will definitely spark their imagination. The figures are nicely molded like a traditional "army-men" set. Everything is fairly solid once built. I'm looking forward to see what my kids come up with as they feel inspired to add-on. Even if they lose interest in it eventually the price makes this a great buy for the experiences they will create playing with it.

This is such a nice set. My son really enjoyed putting it together. All the pieces were all in tact and everything went together perfect. The castle is really cool, it has a wooden landing area all around the castle that you can set the guys up for battle. It comes with everything you need, guys, weapons, horses, etc. This is such an all inclusive set and has everything you need for great mid-evil play. A perfect starter set. This would make a great gift.

So I got this originally for my medieval themed party as just a display, but after a few drinks the adults were playing with them on the table and we all had an excellent time. The little toys are actually well made and hold up to being used and the kids had a blast with it also. It's really a fun toy to play with and gives the kids something to do while the adults were adulting.

Have seen Better Quality Soldiers, but the castle was Good. I am pleased with the purchase.

Very disappointed with this product cheaply made plastic pieces and some of the castle is just cardboard.Definitely not worth the price this is not much better than a dollar store toy. I am sending it back
