We made other uses out of these... but my husband yes he can't use them for the purpose I got the for. He says they aren't good for cleaning out the ears. But I gave the product a four because we are able to make use of them for things.

I should have looked closer, these are not what I thought. Don’t know what the white stuff is, it’s certainly not the fluffy cotton I expected, it’s a fairly hard substance and, another surprise, it’s only on one end of the stick, the other end, not clearly shown in the photo, is bare. These may have their own use to some, but I will be looking for something to replace them.
