I checked with Jerome at Spoko to make sure this was authentic, because it was offered on Amazon at $25 less than usual. He confirmed that this was a great deal. I meditate every day, and this bench is ergonomically designed for sitting in the kneeling position. You can also sit cross-legged on it.I put my zabuton (the flat mat that the zafu which is the round cushion) in front of the bench, and VOILA! My knees don't hurt. My hips don't hurt. My back doesn't hurt. I can sit for as long as I want.The legs are removable, and there's a lovely human touch where someone has written numbers to help you know where to insert each support leg. It's portable!The quality is fantastic, and if you're looking for an alternate or new way to sit, this bench is a great investment.

I am 5'5" and I thought I needed a chair that I could sit with crossed legs. This one was a little awkward for that but I discovered that I LOVE sitting in the kneeling position in this chair. The curved top is very comfortable and the height fits my knee length perfectly. The legs are sturdy but they can be pulled off for packing if necessary. It is a very simple chair that takes up very little space.

This bench is comfortable and ergonomic- hips are at the proper position, and supports proper posture. Great for sitting low to the ground to interact with my grandchild, in addition to meditating.It’s quite sturdy, but a bit difficult to disassemble for constant travel. May need a little wax.Very happy with this bench.

I’m going to preface this by giving my measurements, I am 6’1, 230 pounds. I’m not overweight just stocky with a decent amount of muscle. As a guy my size this bench is simply just not wide enough, nor is it tall enough. The problem is that I do not fit the width of the bench. It took me a while to realize that the pain I was feeling was due to the raised lips of bench digging into my thighs and cutting off My circulation since my thighs hang over the outer edges. I would say to steer clear of this bench if you are any taller than 5’10’’/5’11, 190 pounds, or have wide set hips. They make others in this identical style that have larger widths and multiple choices of heights. This product is advertised as a one size fits all and I should of known better. I forced myself to use it every day thinking there would just be an adjustment period, and waiting too long after the warranty was up. I also had to glue the legs on because with my size I didn’t trust the unglued legs, there was a lot of creaking and other concerning noises coming from them. I thought they were going to break. That’s $125 in the garbage for me unfortunately.

The finish and quality of wood is high quality. comfort I have to give 2 because first of all based on how it is presented , it catches a buyer's eye as have done good advertisement but its on the expensive side and I found another meditation bench much cheaper and more comfortable than this. WIll keep it as its alright but have found a meditation bench better in cost and more comfortable.

As much as I wanted this bench to work for me, I will have to return it. First, the mount was wrapped (see picture), making it difficult to assemble and somewhat unstable. Second, the legs weren’t properly matched. Third, the wood had dents in it. Besides, it is uncomfortable because of the curved shape. Some people have wider hips than others, making this bench far from being universal. Finally, the item wasn’t properly packed, it was put directly in Amazon’s box. All in all, I must say that I am disappointed by the general quality of this bench. This bench is only made of 3 pieces of wood which quality isn’t that great, especially for the asked price. If the above-mentioned flaws were corrected, this item should sell for no more than 50-60$. It is completely overpriced, considering what it is.

Received this bench as a gift. I use this for 1-2 hours of meditation per day. Lovely piece of "furniture".The design insures correct posture. The tilt is perfect for hips and knees. Easy to assemble and to travel with. The bench is a quality product that looks nice as it is out in the living room. I have used this for only 3 days but have enjoyed it more than my meditation cushion. I cannot state how comfortable the bench is!Be happy!

À plus de 80 ans, je voulais faire des exercises de flex.; je ne pouvais pas plier mes genoux en dessous du banc et un des supports verticaux pouvait s'insérer dans le canal mais avec beaucoup de difficultés; le bois est de bonne qualité. Je sus 6 pi., 205 lbs et le banc standard était top bas.
