UPDATE: I wanted to added that these are very sturdy units. When the original one I had broke after 5 yrs usage, I bought another brand and it was flimsy and broke in 2 weeks time. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I bought one of these units at Walgreens 4 or 5 years ago. Paid around 11 bucks for it. Always worked great, but finally broke a few months back. I had been planning to buy one or two more to keep handy around the house and one in my car when the original one I had broke. Went back to Walgreens, they were now 26 bucks each. Found the six pack of these here at Amazon for 42 bucks (7 bucks ea.). Such a deal Boobalah!! I could have plotzed!! Placed 3 around the house and 1 in my car and been using them for about 3 months now and they work great And I got 2 in my closet as spares when and if the ones I'm using break.

Of all the styles of grabbers available, THIS is the one you want. It has a comfy handle that's easy to use, and FIRMLY grips whatever we pick up. Having a few extra around makes it convenient to use, too. I bought the 5 pack and distributed them to the areas we frequently are in. One by each of our chairs, one in the bedroom, one in the kitchen, one in the laundry room...and an extra one in my closet. Handy dandy tool for folks who cannot bend over like they used to. The 'trigger' style just doesn't do it for me, but this handle design is perfect! GOOD JOB!

Handy after surgery for picking things up off the floor, as well as things that are stored up high.These are well made and only require one hand to useI keep one in my car to pick up trash with when I walk my dogs

I've tried many different brands. This is absolutely the best grabber of all I've tried. I'm disabled, so it's difficult to pick things up off the floor. I got the six-pack, so I have one in just about every room. I just bought another six-pack for my elderly parents. Highly recommend!
