I'm a very clumsy person and break things constantly, this is a good affordable alternative for travel packing. It holds a lot of brushes and the little stand is a nice feature. I was worried my taller brushes wouldn't fit as snug as the others, but it was a perfect height. I'm unsure when it comes to water retention, however based on the material used, it looks promising.

I just love this paintbrush case. It's absolutely perfect.Plenty of room to see store both sets of my paint brushes. The slots are big enough that you can double up or even triple up thinner brushes.The case is vented so you don't have to worry about putting away damp brushes they will dry just fine.The case is sturdy and well made so if you have expensive paint brushes they will be well protected. The zipper also goes all the way around so no chance of brushes falling out.My favorite feature and why I bought this is the way the case folds and snaps and can sit next to you while you paint. This is awesome.I had bought another roll up type case but returned it when I realized it would have been hard to see the brushes while I was working and didn't set up.Very clever design, great looking, feels nice and durable AND the price is great. Definitely recommend!Edit: Not sure why my pictures posted sideways :(

I love this case for my watercolor paintbrushes. It has lots of room, yet folds compactly to fit into my travel art bag. It's sturdy and has several vent holes in case there's still moisture in the bristles when packed up.It stands upright when open for easy access to its contents. It has several elastic straps inside to hold brushes or pencils securely. It's even roomy enough for a palette knife. Very happy with this purchase.

I like that the carrier is ventilated so wet brushes can dry. The case seems sturdy and holds brushes securely. The snaps that hold the case in easel position are a little awkward but work sufficiently well. I think the case would stand up better if the corners were square as opposed to rounded. Overall, a nice case.

Forget about the negative reviews, this is a solid case with thick fabric. We were looking for a compact brush holder for traveling to class and this is by far the best brush holder we've found (we also put our pencils in it)!

I wanted a smallish paint case for my mixed media brushes (Zen 73 series). The brushes are short handled and they fit with room to spare. I wouldn't be able to put long handled brushes in there, but that's what the other size case is for. The feature to turn the case into a stand is cool, but it does rock ever so slightly.

It's very lightweight but appears to be sturdy. My bristles have plenty of room so they do not get bent and there is ventilation which allows the brushes to dry. The ability for the to send up makes it quite easy to choose the brush you need.

If you have a ton of brushes like I do, I’d go for a larger case, but I bought this one and already had a large case. I bought this because I needed something to hold the rest of my brushes. I used to use a bamboo roll for decades but the loops got stretched out and the brushes would fall out. I knew it was time for a new case. This is nice, long enough for brushes, short or tall, without mashing the bristles and ruining the brush. I just received it today, so I’ll post an update if I feel differently later on!
