Originally I was sent one of these brush holders that was improperly assembled, but Meeden sent a replacement that was in tip-top shape.All of the other cheap brush holders out there are either made of plastic or laser-cut board. This holder, while more expensive, is of fantastic quality and durability, with a rish dark brown finish. A fantastic aesthetic piece on any artist's desk.

Wanted a brush holder that allowed me to easily see my working brushes for each color (oil painter). Also love that it’s easy to position brushes into bottom indent. Pricey, yes, but pro accessories are worth it. I find the plastic holders with many slots are too chaotic, whereas this holder is “orderly.†Holds various size brushes in set slots, which is helpful for switching around/finding a brush quickly while painting.

This is my first legit and probably last review. I absolutely love this holder! Looks great and saves me money from buying new brushes I don't need.

Bridges slide out of their grooves and end up falling on the ground. Not a great invention.

My first impression was wow it’s huge but it fit perfectly on my paint drawers and has organized my brushes so well! It is a gorgeous piece of art space furniture. I don’t use large brushes so I wish it had more of the smaller brush sized slots. Overall it’s very well made and a welcome addition to my creative space.

Real timber. Good construction.Predetermined aperture sizes (varied holes on top) generally seems to suit most brushes. Tall brushes don’t get knocked over.Also, like that it fits on top of the matching draws.
