I hooked these up to an adjustable ultrasonic generator and 3D printed an enclosure. These two speakers are responsive to the ultrasonic sound generator and help us to quite down the neighbor's barking dog. They handle the volume and output just fine and have made it through spring rains and summer sun without issue.

I replaced a bad speaker in my mouse blocker device with this exact speaker and mouse blocker works great again. Sound quality is back to oem quality saving me from having to spend 100 dollars for a new device

These are loud at 5 volts. 4000hz made my ears hurt. They draw about 10ma so 2 can be hooked up to the tone pin on Arduino. Pest, animal repeller that you know that generates ultrasonic waves. Although I've seen these spec'd at 10v that much is not needed. Many repellers sold on line do not work or have insufficient volume.There is some sympathetic frequency generated at 31khz, but not bad to my old ears, but may bother others. *Edit 3/27/22 I added a 1k resistor in series to the + side of the speaker and it is now completely silent.Code : for variable frequency on Arduino 22khz to 42khz/* Varible Frequency Output From Godzilla */int speaker = 9; /* Pin 9 */unsigned int sfrequency = 22000;unsigned int efrequency =42000;void setup(){ pinMode(speaker, OUTPUT);}void loop(){ for (unsigned int i = sfrequency; i tone(speaker, i); delay(2000); /* 2 Seconds */ }}

The only disadvantage is the positive and ground are not marked. No simplest of instructions are included. I had only the online photo from amazon to go off of.

Ultrasonic testing from a generator. I was doing an experiment to see if these could work for the test. Homemade pest control. They have a wide resonant frequency response unlike certain piezoelectric elements. Both audible and in audible.

Speaker's are great they do just what they said they'd do.shipping thru u.p.s on the other hand was terrible like usuall . Product was sent to 3 different compass points none of which helped the delivery process.
