Worked great on large concrete porch slab. Removed Epoxy paint, latex paint and old carpet glue from large concrete slab. The 5" wheel came with a insert and I kept it in place and used the nut to press the insert offset.I could of removed it, but wanted to try to use it. It moved/offset slightly and still maintained center. The concrete slab was 40 foot long and 5 foot wide with 10' x 10' wider section on the end.It did the entire slab and over 3/4% of the wheel still remaining.I would recommend a grinder vaccum attachment that can attach to a shop vac with dust bags. You will want the dust bags, trust me.The wheel worked best with light pressure and letting the wheel do the work. It removed old carpet glue covered by epoxy paint that was also covered with outdoor latex paint. If you want to get more aggressive with the wheel, it will do it and chew up anything in front of it, then go over with light pressure for a smooth even finsish.I would buy again and will if I can wear it out.

First off, I have been a contractor for over thirty years. I purchased this tool because the basement bathroom, that was preplumbed before I signed the job has some issues. The concrete was done horribly. Around all the PVC pipes coming out of the floor were mounds of concrete. The entire floor was also painted. There were changes of a half inch. I purchased this tool really to just get the paint off but quickly learned that it chewed through the concrete like butter. Many reviews talk about ventilation. Believe them! I had no windows. With one shop vac I was blind within minutes. With two shop vacs I was able to just pause and get the job done. I ate up four filters on a 40sq ft bathroom. I use Rigid Shop Vacs.I bought the four inch model and it was more than enough to do the job.

Definitely removes old thick textured paint! Had to refinish a 850 sqft deck where 35 grit sandpaper wasn't making a dent. Thank goodness I ordered two of these things. Halfway through the deck the disc was losing its oomph. Several bits were completely sheared off from screws and overall the wheel had become worn and dull. As far as longevity, both discs were trash after sanding the entire deck. Regardless, this sanding disc was the only thing that successfully removed the old paint .... with that said, highly recommend.

Used the disc wheel in preparation to stain the concrete floor. The house sits on a slab and decided to stain the concrete floors. In order to do this, the concretes needs to be prepped, which includes giving it a rough texture so that the stain can adhere. The disc wheel worked great and was easy to maneuver. The disc wheel was also used to even out areas where I had to use epoxy in order to fill in some gaps on the concrete floor. Because of this tool, I did not have to hire someone. Was able to use this myself and save quite a bit of money.

I am removing paint from a cement block wall and the Megatron 4 inch cup grinding disc used in conjunction with my 4.5 inch Bosch grinder is doing an amazing job. As long as I keep the grinder moving and don't try to get to aggressive, this tool is just amazing. It removes the paint and very little of the block surface. I would highly recommend this product to others who want to tackle a project like mine. Of note, I am removing paint from a wall which is damp which may help with removal. Beware, this project creates a lot of dust, therefore a mask, and faceshield are recommended.

I use this to grind the corners and some edges after grinding a floor preparing for a garage floor epoxy system. I was pleasantly surprised by this little guy. I may be buying the 7†version to use to remove paints and old epoxy coatings. As a contractor who grinds floors for a living, I’d buy this again for that purpose.

I used it to clean and smooth the adhesive from an old glue down laminate tiles from my bathroom floor in preparation for an epoxy floor. Did 40sqft in about an hour, pretty easy to control, and made a ton of dust.I didn't plan ahead by getting a dust shroud for my grinder so used a respirator and exhaust fan in the window which really helped.I forgot a picture between the grinding and the epoxy unfortunately but it was very clean but I can see the shadows of the tiles after the epoxy was applied, Probably could have gotten that too if I'd gone deeper?Anyway, happy with the product. I'll be using it again in the laundry room.

This one worked almost as well as the green cup wheel for paint stripping. This one was much less expensive so I thought I would give it a try. Good overall. The picture shows what I accomplished in about four seconds of grinding layers of paint off an old concrete pool.

I bought this wheel to strip paint off a concrete floor and it did pretty well. Worked alot better then the first wheel that had big blocks of diamonds. This wheel works great because of all the small bits
