We all know while we using the APSC camera, the most Awkward thing is we lost the wide angle capability.Please check out the photos as I attached, I’m using the sigma art 24 and 105After I combo up with Meike 0.71x speed booster, camera recognized as 17mm and 74mm (of cause you need to x 1.6), but F stop open up to f1.0.I love the bokeh that 0.71x delivered to me, hope you guys whom are using the APSC, able enjoy the full frame alike photos

This is a revised review. The first adapter I received did not function properly because of a machining error on the bayonet. It wouldn't mount on my Red Komodo and it got stuck on my Komodo X. Because I didn't realize this until after 30 days, Amazon wouldn't take it back. Fortunately, Meike replced my adapter, and the new one works perfectly. It looks great optically and mounts on both Komodo and Komodo X. Thank you to Vincy and Meike for the help and customer service on this.

Focal reducers are really good for both increasing the light your sensor gets, getting that wider field of view, and to adapt new lenses. This one does the above but also has some safety pieces included to lock your mount to your camera to keep it from having that minimal but crucial free play. The clarity and image sharpness is retained and your get a full frame field of view. so if you use super 35 lenses, you'll get some vignetting on the shorter focal lengths for sure. With zooms, you might be able to zoom past your vignetting but this will give you a full frame view and on some sensors, a slightly wider angle of view than full frame. The build quality it awesome and the housing and glass all feel superbly crafted.

Meike EFTR-0.71X Lens Mount Adapter Speed Booster 0.71x Focal Reduction Lens is good.But it can be used for Mostly EF full frame lenses and a few EF-S crop sensor lenses that I own below.The other EF-S lenses, I cannot even mount them. Pra quem precisa de um campo de visão maior, ela atende bem.Na fotografia não há o que reclamar.Apesar do erro que sempre vai aparecer ao ligar a camera, ela funciona bem.O problema vem quando você precisa usar o estabilizador IBS ( direto do sensor ), na minha R7 usando uma 24-70mm f2.8, abaixo de 35mm o estabilizador fica perdido sem conseguir estabilizar.

Was für ein Gamechanger. Endlich den lästigen Crop los werden und dabei seine alten EF Objektive weiter verwenden.Kein Wunder das Canon (hat auch eine doppelt so teure Variante davon) mir auf Nachfrage ob es auch an Fotokameras funktioniert sagte das es NUR für ihre Videokameras gedacht ist. So kaufen ja deutlich weniger die teuren Vollformat Kameras.Autofokus funktioniert nach wie vor perfekt und die Bildqualität ist gleich gut geblieben.
