This is an item that I definitely should have purchased sooner. It is so easy to use, functions as intended, and is well made.

This is an awesome tool. My husband has been cutting down thrift frames for my cross stitch finishes and this works so well in holding your piece in the frame.....so easy. Saves you a ton of time and for the price of custom framing this is one of the tools we purchased and we are not sorry.

With only a few points driven as a test, the unit seems well-built. At this time the only annoyance is that the 1000-point cartridges are made of 5 @ 200 ea. The "pusher solder" will not close with that many points so a person has to break off enough to allow closure. Over time ending up with several small cartridges for the "magazine". If they had shipped 8 cartridges @ 125 ea. everything would work as expected. It is a small matter, just a nuisance keeping track and using the remnants of breaking apart the 200-count cartridge.

Love the way this is easy to load and use. No guesswork. Keeps artwork in place and secure. Highly recommend. Been looking for something similar for a long time and this one gets the job done.

Had some framing work to be done and needed this item to staple back of picture frame. Staple gun worked well. Made my work hold up and look more professional than general staple gun that uses u shaped staples.

My wife is a serious water color artist and, over the years, I have cut many mats and assembled many matted pictures into frames. Pointing manually has always been less than satisfactory. Now with this pointing tool, it is easy. If you do pointing in a picture frame, you need this tool.

The machine worked perfectly. The staples were all broken and in pieces. This I did not expect from Amazon. Not enough to complain but definitely caused much disappointment.

This tool arrives very nicely protected in a branded Meite cardboard box alongside a little package of ‘free’ flexible/bendable points on five strips to get you started. Which is plenty and genuinely what I’d consider to be a lifetime supply unless you’re making or repairing a lot of frames. The box also contains a few pieces of paper with an exploded diagram of the stapler’s various parts, a letter of conformity for some reason and a set of nicely written instructions with colour photographs outlining the setup and use of the tool. The product description mentions that the stapler holds around a hundred pieces in its magazine, which makes me feel like the claim of the stapler coming with 1000 points is a little misleading then. If the stapler holds a hundred pieces and takes almost an entire strip (one of five provided) to fill, surely the actual number is closer to 500 or 600 at most? Maybe the stapler itself holds more than a hundred pieces, I didn’t personally count it out but either way it's a little muddy whether you’re getting 1000 pieces with the stapler or if it simply holds more than advertised. The stapler is very nicely made, and it doesn’t take a huge amount of effort to adjust, load, unload and use it on picture frames. I took a bunch of the points out of the supplied box and had them loaded and driven into a random picture frame within a minute or two without looking at the provided instructions. It’s easy to adjust the depth/strength of the stapler, and it hasn’t jammed or caused me any issues on several dozen test uses on some frames that needed new flexible points and a spare piece of timber. This is one of those very specific tools that makes you have that epiphany moment where you’re like ‘well of course that’s actually a thing I can buy/own’. Before this popped up I honestly hadn’t even considered the possibility that I could get a specific stapler for driving bendable tabs/points into wood for self-made frames or repairing existing ones that have broken points from too much use.The £35.99 price at the time of writing is in the ballpark for similar point drivers from other vendors. I’m pleased with how well it works and other than the bit of confusion around the capacity or number of provided points I really can’t fault the stapler itself.

For years I've struggled to reframe pictures, especially getting the backing panel securely fixed. This staple gun is easy to use and effective. You need to take a little care when using but I've managed fine so far. A good product and decent value for money.
