This stool has worked wonders for our family! So much so that we ordered a second one so our daughter who just turned three has one for her bed and for the sink in the bathroom. It’s a great height for her to get in and out of bed which is what it was originally purchased for. However we moved into the bathroom almost immediately, since she could reach the sink and wash her hands all by herself! The second one arrive 50 minutes ago and my three year old already helped me assemble it! Very happy with this purchase from assemble to functionality to sturdiness!

Great toddler stool. Easy to build with just a screw driver. It obviously does not fold down so prepare for this to be a permanent fixture in your bathroom or wherever. But at least it’s nice looking!

So far the stool works for the intended purpose; a childs step stool. Great for reaching a sink to wash hands or "helping" mom cook. I am, however very disappointed this item is press-board instead of natural wood. Had I have known this, I would not have ordered it, certainly not for $33. I spent a lot of time looking on amazon for a stool that was both wooden and tall enough to allow my child access to the sinks and counter spaces. I like Doug and Melissa products because they tend to use more wood than plastic and their toys are usually of a decent quality. The wooden element was important to me because I wanted a product that had a smaller carbon foot print/ less processing to produce, would be easier to repair if necessary and not need to be recycled or thrown in a land fill if not repairable. An issue I have specific to press- board, is moisture. I worry the press- board will eventually absorb water and degrade. Unfortunately, this was a last minute Christmas gift, so by the time we realized it wasn't natural wood, it was already Christmas eve so there was not time to return it and purchase another. Also, it's too heavy for my 3 year old to move. But it did arrive on schedule, so that we appreciated.

I bought this for our home a year ago and I have to admit this was one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon. The build quality is amazing and has stood up to alot of abuse from my 4yr. Cleaning it requires a few wipes with a cloth and its good as new. My son uses this is in our main bathroom every single day and it tucks away beautifully under our floating vanity no folding required. It's not heavy at all and he can drag it in and out perfectly. When he stands on it its secure and doesn't wobble. It pairs well with our décor and many of our friends who have children now also have this. Excellent product, highly recommended!

Does it’s job. It’s heavy so it doesn’t slip when my son is standing on it. However the heaviness also makes it harder to pull it out and tuck it back underneath the sink each time he needs to use it. The design is nice but the white paint has chipped very slightly in the edge. Gets smudged easily so needs to be wiped frequently. Takes up more space than a simple standing stool but it’s easier and safer for a toddler to climb up on this.

What a shame. FedEx man handle this to me very nicely but inside was already damaged. In this high price too. Wish Amazon could have more option apart from only have to return item. I now currently awaiting the response from melissa and doug official.

Wonderful product. Very sturdy, easy assembly, fairly lightweight to pick up, not to mention in looks so cute! Love love love! Also, my 2 year old uses for helping with dishes, and climbing up on our bed. Uses all the time.
