I’m not sure exactly how it works, but it does! And it’s so cool!! My sons (4 years and 20 months) went through their entire booklet and then started stamping every piece of paper in the house! I couldn’t figure out how it would work and not stick to each other, but they’re so cool!! The stickers run out and you can put a new little pile of stickers in the dispenser!! I even loved using these!! The feeling of pushing the dobber down and a sticker sticks is just fun!!! I bought extra sticker packs and my boys went through probably 6 packs on day 1! They love them!!!

We found that the first sticker dries out overnight so in the morning I have to remove that one from the stack. Maybe there’s a way to keep it sticky that I’m missing?!? My kids love it though and kept them busy for a while!

Perfect for travel. My 3 yo twins and 6 yo loved these for a plane travel activity. It was such a big hit that I bought more for our ride back home.

I love Melissa and Doug toys but this one is awful. The stickers don't come out as they should and the books make no sense. How can the child find the right page for the sticker without knowing what the sticker is? And they simply do not come out as they should. I have no idea why it's got such good reviews. Not only was it a total waste of money but it also frustrated my little one to tears.
