I love this brand overall. Lots of quality toys that encourage creative thinking and imagination in littles! Usually no batteries needed in them either - just simple innovative play! So many different types of engaging toys to choose from, all of which are educational as well. I’ve learned you don’t always need super expensive, fancy toys to spark your child’s imagination and curious mind.

We were pleasantly surprised by the wings that just fold down in place with inner elastic cables. No loosing those wings and they fold up and out of the way for easy storage. Our 2 year old daughter liked the little people and matching each one with its color coordinated suitcase. This will be fun for imaginative play, but also something for us to talk about get her excited and ready for her first plane flight just before her 2nd birthday. Seems to be well constructed like all the other Melissa & Doug toys.

Bought this in addition to the Melissa and Doug school bus. My 1 year old loves it. I love how sturdy it is and doesn’t have small breakable pieces. The wood gives me more piece of mind that she can’t break it and eat it. Never had any trouble with the wheels or anything being broken.Long lasting toy. Would highly recommend.

My son loves this, and it’s been a good, age appropriate way to start talking to him about a long trip we’re taking in a few months. Although it’s visually attractive we did notice a few glue deposits around the tail joints and, while my 13 month old son has only just recently been introduced to this toy and only plays with it on a soft carpeted surface for short periods, the paint seems to be chipping off the luggage already. All in all I’m happy with the purchase and my son is too.

My Grandson loves this airplane and all of the little wooden people and suitcases are so cute and fit right in. They arrived in just a couple of days and well wrapped! I was so pleased with my purchase! Melissa and Doug toys are always the highest quality and the kids love them!

One of my 2 yo son’s favourite toys. The wood is of good quality and the plane and the passengers are very sturdy ( they survived countless throwing around...).A simple toy with which gives a lot of room for imagination.
