Difficult to believe this is in the category of “toyâ€. VERY sturdy components. Super easy to put together…5 mins at most. Great size loom and quite stable on the pedestal feet. While it does not have a heddle, this is a great loom for weaving with larger, bulkier yarns! Easy to warp. Great accessories with the loom, including a wonderful wooden (x-large) needle. Highly recommend. Purchased one for my granddaughter and was so impressed I purchased one for me!

I bought this for my 3 little girls, I opened it and put it together and it looks great- way simpler and easier to use than the loom I had as a kid. They will have no trouble making things, and I can easily grab more yarn for them to use again and again. Great product, thanks once again Melissa & Doug for the superior children's toy.

My 8 y old (and my 6y old) granddaughter just loved it. It was a gift for the 8y old but they both enjoyed it. Instructions to put the frame together were lacking but after trying to use it noticed my mistakes one at a time. One of the red pegs was defective, had to ask grandpa for a nut. After that it was smooth sailing. I strongly recommend it.

My kid received this for Christmas to make her own scarf and purse like it says you can make. It is a bit difficult for her and her ames get tired. The quality of the wood is good and a good size. My kid does have fun but it's a little difficult and needs a lot of help sometimes. It is worth the money but the instructions should be more simple and the link the instructions gives for videos does not work.

I bought this loom for my children; it makes an excellent handicraft option for a Charlotte Mason style eduction.ASSEMBLY:It was easy to put together; the caveat is you do need to look at the pictures closely to make certain all pieces are facing the correct direction.QUALITY:It is well-made, sturdy, and arrived packaged very nicely.The yarn included is very soft and has rich colors.It is easy to adjust the size or partially disassemble for storage.EASE OF USE:We found this almost surprisingly simple to use. My kiddo completed a small project in a couple of sittings; I helped with the start and finish but they can do it mostly solo once having gotten the hang of it. The project instructions are fairly easy to follow. Start with the basic weaving instructions before beginning a project, and again, always pay attention to the pictures to make sure you’re understanding each step.One reviewer complained that the uprights don’t stay threaded; all I can say is if that is the case then it’s not threaded properly. We are two projects in with a child doing most of the weaving and this hasn’t been an issue.The resulting weavings are very nice and practical, and something your child can be proud of!

My kid (6) likes it very much and can do most of the work by himself. An adult might be needed only for the initial setup, but it is a great game, high quality and pretty simple to use for creative kids.

Me encanta. Es un regalo fantástico para niños de 8-9 años. Está fabricado con madera bien acabada, sin aristas. Lo ha montado mi hij@ sin ayuda. Muy fácil de usar. Las instrucciones vienen en inglés, pero hay tutoriales suficientemente claros en Internet. Viene con dos madejas de lana de un color precioso y que da para hacer varios trabajos. Su dimensión te permite hacer trabajos de tamaño medio. Por ejemplo un cuello pequeño, pero no una bufanda. Escogà el que tiene embalaje pequeño y ocupa relativamente poco una vez desmontado.No sé si lo usará mucho o poco, pero es muy buen producto.
