This is the second purchase of this watering wand. The first one failed with a leak at the handle, after being left outdoors with water in it during a week of freezing weather.

I used this item to water my tomato plants at their bases. Easy to use and helped me get the job done in less time and prevent fungus and other diseases. Well made and designed. Thumb control on/off switch is solid and does not cut off/on unless user wants it to. Highly recommended.

We changed all our hose/faucet equipment to Melnor brand. They have quick connects and watering wands. We have the short and long wands. Here is the review on the long wand:+: Multi watering modes from soak it to a light mist. Good for either soaking your kids, or creating a cooling mist. The turn-off level on the handle works well!-: We did need to replace the one purchased from LY due to an annoying spray at the handle (not the connection). It could be a user from storing it over the winter or a defect. All other Melnor products have been working great!Overall... I recommend the short handle over the long handle Melnor, but for those hanging pots, you really need the long handle one.

I purchased this through a friend I watch on YouTube: MORE THEN JUST FARMERS, and she recommend this watering wand, and yep, she was right. It has a swivel so when you turn, or spin the wand, it freely turns, or spins with you and want kink. The water volume control does let you control the water as much, or as little as you want. And it does come with instructions on how to insert the two paces in a pack that comes with it into the wand, which is very clear, and easy to do.

Excellent, versatile watering wand! The thumb turn off is super easy to use so you don’t waste water. And the pivoting head makes watering overhead baskets easy. You can easily direct the water to where it needs to go. This is a sturdy piece that I expect will last a long time.

This is one of the best designed products I ever bought. The wand is light, has a large grip making it easy to hold. It comes with a quick disconnect hose attachment. The water flow is easy to control with the thumb control. There's no handle to squeeze making long watering times easy. The wand is extendable and the head is fully adjustable 180 degrees. Others have mentioned that it leaks when extended. This is most likely because they didn't extend the wand properly or tighten the extension screw on the wand after. I've had zero leaks.It's a perfect wand that actually makes watering fun and easy!
