Cute and warm tights. Using them for ballet in the winter, much thicker than regular ballet tights. I think they should last longer too, less likely to rip.

The Short-great durable tights but the run small, seem narrow and will shrink.The Long- I needed Grey tights for my girls because they have to wear grey knee socks or tights to school and it was starting to get cold.We are on a tight budget in order to pay for our girls school so I picked these for my oldest daughter because they were just $10.While that is a bit pricey compared to Walmart and Target, it is a good price for Amazon and I wanted a durable product (quality over quantity and all) so I decided to roll the dice despite not knowing the brand.The Pro's- They are soft, warm, durable, washed up well and didn't snag or have any holes after the first two washes or the first wear, which is worth the increase in price.The Con's- My daughter is nine and a half and I got her a size 8. She wears a size 7 or 8/Medium in every major brand. Her button up shirts from both Lands End and French Toast are both size 8's, her knee socks from Cotton Day are a size 8, her jumpers from Lands End are size 7 even, so I know she's solidly a size 8.***I also checked the size chart and she is on the low side of the weight range and right in the middle of the height range for a size 8.When we got them I washed them and laid them flat to dry. The next day my daughter wore them to school and she noted that they were a bit long but strangely also snug (which was concerning because she is short and muscular).I washed them and dried them on super low the next day hoping the wouldn't be quite so long on her but all that did was cause them to shrink width wise not length wise like we needed. Today when she was getting dressed she out right refused to wear them. She can have some sensory sensitivities and she said they were flat out too tight around her hips and felt uncomfortable now. 😞Thankfully I have another daughter that has the tall but skinny body shape these tight seem to fit so I will put them back and save them for her for next year. So it's not a loss but now I have to decide what to do for my oldest and fast. I like the quality of the material but I'm not sure going up to a size 10 is the solution as her body type doesn't seem to be the best match.Either way I will buy more for my younger diaghter
