My grandson uses it for volleyball and he likes the added protection. Recommend it for anyone who hustles and is not afraid to get down in any sport....

I bought two of these - I have taken extra special care in washing them on gentle - I have always hung them to dry but after less than a month of using them - two of the padding sections have fallen apart within the shorts - it is impossible to straighten them out rendering them useless

My son Really likes them but you CANNOT dry them. The compression stuff falls apart. Not really practical but they do say it in the description. Athletic wear needs to be washable.

2 issues: Waist band is too lose and padding is not idealThere are 3 bands that makes this product fit. The two is on the legs and the last one is on your waist. The two bands on the legs did a great job at fitting you nicely, however the band that goes on your waist is not as snug. If I were to bend over, the pants will fall off a little bit. Thanks to the snug fit of the 2 bands on your leg, the pants holds itself and only requires to be pulled every other play.The second issue is the padding. The second picture shows where the padding goes on your legs marked in purple. It is not very ideal. Playing basketball and football, I found that I get hit with contusions the most on the front quads. The 3rd picture with green marking is where I hoped it covered. I wished the bottom padding covered the front of your quads as well.I am 5'9" and weigh 165 and got and XL. Make sure you check the sizes well.
