They end just above the knee on me...and I'm 5ft 1in. Be warned if you're planning on pairing these with pirate boots that they end above the boot line.

Do not attempt actual piracy in these shorts! They are sexy 9in a masculine way) and look so much better than the usual boring "trous" you see at Ren Faires. They have nice styling, but please PLEASE keep in mind these are for show only. They are "lightweight" and won't stand up to any real exertion. I would hate to see you buy them and rip them in public.Size fits about right. You have to be careful not to order too large or you end up with saggy-butt syndrome which is NOT SEXY AT ALL. Real linen. Looks great in black (I got the black—naturally), but treat these like a wedding dress. Put them on right before you go "on stage," do your "performance" (make people swoon—don't forget a good codpiece!) and then try to get out of them or at least "go easy" for the rest of the day so you don't end up with a (Janet jackson-esque) "wardrobe malfunction."But still . . . PIRATES! (really sexy, try to order on the small size if you can pull it off.)

Worked well for their purpose. Bought for a costume and fit great. True to size but stretch to fit as well. Strings need to be tied to your liking.

Unless you have pencil legs, these pants will not work for you. They're much too narrow as they reach your calf.

Quality is pretty low but it worked for a day at Ren Faire. Mine arrived with a bad snag also. I don't think it will hold up or wash well.

It looked fine it just ripped while I was tightening the string. And the string later snapped. It didn't even last a full day of walking.

I really love the shorts and they fit great. It has pockets, but the pockets made my hands hold my butt 🤣. If I turned the short around and wore them backwards so the pockets are placed correctly, then the drawstring ties in the back. This is the reason for the 2 stars.
