I usually were cycling shorts under my cargo shorts and thought I would try these. I have mixed feelings on these shorts as the price is right. However the run small and the quality is questionable. I think for spin class they are a good option but for me I will stick with higher end cycling shorts.

Did some camping and rode to see family in Idaho. Was actually pretty comfortable the whole way there and back.

This review is for the Men's Bike Shorts 3D Padded Cycling Pants, Cycling Underwear, Breathable Cycling GearFirst, they are missing a size chart, so I took my best guess at the proper size. I ordered an XL, but I guess I should have ordered an XXL. Most everything I purchase for pants/shorts is XL, so these seem to be sized off. I heard a few stitches break as I tried to put them on.They did stretch and fit, but they weren't very comfortable but I like the idea. They had mesh that allowed for cooling, and my butt wasn't as sore as I start the bike riding season.

First things first there won’t be any pictures with this review. You’re welcome.I ordered these cycling underwear for long distance rides on a motorcycle. I’ve tried numerous brands and they all have the same poor design flaw for people like me. I suffer from gluteus lackamus. With no natural padding my ischial tuberosities (sit bones) start to cause discomfort after about an hour. The design flaw is, and these padded shorts have the same problem, they put the padding right where that bone is.meaning it doesn’t help at all. In fact it makes it worse. The padding needs to be around those bones, not directly under them.I’m not a bicyclist but I know they sit differently so maybe these shorts will help, I don’t know but for riding a motorcycle I can’t recommend them. Oh, the others that I’ve tried were cut to be spandex tight and I don’t like that so I ordered up a size from my normal XL but I should have ordered down to a large. It doesn’t make much difference sitting but when walking around I felt like I had some kind of diaper on and it needed to be changed.

The padded area is too narrow and too short to cover your butt bones so it makes the ride actually more uncomfortable than without them on.

On those occasions when I don't want to wear the lycra shorts (errands), these are great and easily fit under normal shorts without being too bulky. They don't have super thick padding, but shorter trips is what I ordered these for and they work exactly as expected. These breathe well and on leisurely rides, do not get all sweaty. Great addition.
