Fits as expected.Well made.After a first cold water handwash and laid to dry flat and finger smoothed into shape when laid flat, this linen shirt looks and wears far better then straight out of the packaging of course.No one could expect otherwise.I really like this shirt and its classicly historical look.

Shirt seems nice. As stated by others the string used as laces are flimsy, so I purchased leather string as a replacement. Material seems a bit sheer, but maybe that'll be a good thing for the stage (I'm a self-proclaimed rock star) and I'll stay cooler under the lights. If you fit a 2XL, better get the 3XL... Thanks for previous comments for that great suggestion.

I wore this to a Renaissance Festival and it was great. Very breathable and doesn’t wrinkle too bad. It works as a casual shirt if you don’t take yourself too seriously. Great for the summer heat.

Wanted something new, and while I knew this would look like a costume piece, I bought it anyway. The laces are cheap and come unraveled easily. I just tied knots at the end to keep them from fraying and getting lost in the wash (which they did after the first wash). As a woman, the front closure is way too deep and the laces left too much of a gap, so I sewed a new closure for *ahem* modesty. You could wear an undershirt I suppose, but it was too tight for me to do so.

This shirt fits in perfect with my kilt. I travel to several places wearing my family scottish colors and this shirt is just right for the warm temperatures here in the Southwest.
