I was very pleased with the scarf. Now mind you, this isn't necessarily what you would buy to "bundle up" and stave off the snowy cold. This is a dressier scarf that you would wear with a nice leather jacket or overcoat. For dinners out, or the theater. It's very well made and looks very expensive. I really like it a lot. It's about as wide as a man's outstretched palm and fingers, and plenty long enough to make a wrap around the neck and hang properly.

Seems to be of good quality. Very nice material looks and feels like silk. It is made in the way a pillowcase is, meaning it is sewn of one piece of material, folded over sideways and stitched along one end and the long side, then turned inside out and sewn along the remaining edges which have been tucked in. This results in there being no exposed unfinished edges and an item two layers thick. At each end are fourteen hand tied tassels. The quality of the work would be comparable to some very fine products of much higher price. Cons: I was disappointed to find that the item I received was soiled, but a quick hand washing removed the soil. It was also carelessly packaged inside the shipping envelope in such a way that the edge of the scarf was caught up in the glue of the envelope closure so that when opening it with a scissors I could easily have chopped the scarf in half. Finally, it is listed as 68 inches but it actually measures 60, tassels included.

The scarf arrived much sooner than anticipated which was a pleasant surprise. The formal event date was very close. The length and accent match made a difference in the ensemble detail.

I would have given it 5 stars. The quality is great, but when I took it out the package to press out the fold creases there were thee stains. Not returning because my husband wore it stain side down.

Thanks for this scarf, it is fantastic! What I like the most is the color—I have a candy-apple red one, but this is more a fire-red, and I love it! I am using this for “Holiday POPsâ€!choral performances at Symphony Hall in Boston in December, don’t will be seen by thousands of people!
