I'll give a little background on me and what I was looking for before I dive into describing the sweater and fit. Hopefully that will be helpful in deciding what size to order and if this sweater will do what you want.I'm 6'0" tall and 205 lbs with a fairly fit, muscular physique. I have a 44" chest, 34" waist, and wear a 16.5 34/35 slim fit dress shirt. So if you're built like me, my size choice will likely work for you. If you're a lot heavier or a lot skinnier, you'll want to adjust the size you choose accordingly. As for what I was looking for. I wanted some sweaters for this fall and winter for kicking around the house and casual Friday nights out with friends at bars and restaurants. I already owned 7 cashmere sweaters and 6 Merino wool sweaters. So why buy these? Well, the cashmere is VERY expensive. Not something I wear just kicking around the house. Some of the Merino wool sweaters are cable knit and bulky enough they won't fit comfortably under a sportcoat or leather jacket. Also all natural wools pill and require maintenance. They also require special washing like dry cleaning or delicate care like hand washing and stretching. And natural fibers are also more vulnerable to stains.I wanted something more care free and easy to maintain. So I had already made the decision to look for some type of synthetic fabric or like polyester, nylon, rayon, or acrylic, or a blend of those fabrics. I couldn't care less about the snobbery surrounding Merino Wool and Cashmere. Good stuff, but not what I wanted. So these are 100% polyester. I bought 3 colors, Khaki, Army Green, and Red. And I bought a size Large. The fit is right for me. But be advised..... this is a fairly slim fit sweater from the chest to the waist. If you aren't fit with an athletic build, every lump and bump is gonna be on full display. On the upside, because it's not super thick and it isn't bulky, it does exactly what I wanted, which is to fit comfortably under a sport coat or leather jacket, something my cashmere sweaters can do but not my bulky Merino wool sweaters.I've already put one of them through the wash. Mesh bag, delicate cycle, Woolite, air dry on a towel. No problem. Aslo wiped off some food spills. Again, no problem when I wiped off the spill immediately with a wet towel. The first time I wore the Khaki color with a dark brown tweed sport coat, I got 2 compliments. So it must look at least OK to other people. Don't stress about the polyester construction.Complaints? I have 2.1.) Very minor. Just a surprise really. The polyester is much heavier from a weight standpoint than natural wools. Not a big deal at all. I was just surprised by the weight difference.2.) The length. This is a really long sweater. About 3-4 inches too long for my taste ideally. Almost as long as a sport coat but not quite car coat length. I can live with it because I'm relatively tall and thin. If you have a short torso or you're just short in general, you may find this looks like a dress on you. Just a warning. Are they as warm for the weight as Merino Wool or Cashmere? No but, they are plenty warm for what I want. Do they look nice? Yes, based on my own opinion and other people's reactions so far it seems like no one either notices or cares that I'm wearing a "synthetic" sweater. I'm keeping all three colors I bought.Hope this helps your decision making.

Good quality weave, not easily snagged. The green is an exact color match. My husband finds it comfortable and well-fitting.

Nice sweater but definitely not tan. Its more of a dark burnt orange. Heavy, feels well made but not too thick. Because the color isnΓ’β¬β’t right my husband didnΓ’β¬β’t try it on.
