Have an inherited condition in my veins at the ankle are. Regular socks cut off some circulation.Wear socks almost to the knee. The elastic wears out. These comfortable sock garters keep the sock up without any discomfort of the belt on the calf of the leg. Easy to take off and put on.

I always thought sock garters like this (for men) were nerdy and weird, something old men might wear. But then I realized just how frustrating it has been over the years to be CONSTANTLY having to pull up my socks during the day, every day. So, I took the plunge and bought this item on Amazon. HOLY COW these are great!First and foremost, my main worry was that they'd be uncomfortable or would make my legs itch or something. Quite the contrary... I have them on as we speak and I cannot even feel them. Nada. It's like I'm not wearing them at all yet there they are, holding my socks up perfectly. They grip the socks very well, haven't come loose once. I'm kicking myself for not having bought these years ago. And the price is so cheap! The item, however, is not. They appear to be very well made, good quality materials. And again, perfectly comfortable. I don't imagine I'll need another pair but I would buy these again in a heartbeat if needed. I highly recommend them for you guys out there who are tired of pulling up your socks time and time again. You can't wear them with shorts of course (well, you could, but then you'd REALLY look like a dork!) but for you businessmen out there who take pride in your appearance, these are a must.

I'm thankful to have them because they work great. I have thick legs so I have a hard time keeping socks up. These definitely keep them up all day. The only thing is they dig into my legs.

I'd had issues with heated socks slipping down due to the weight of the batteries.While they still work like this (heating elements are all around the bottom), it was very uncomfortable and eliminated the benefit of having the higher parts of the socks insulating my calves.It occurred to me to use something like this and I believe this was the first set I tried and it has worked perfectly.Very comfortable, I can't even tell I am wearing them, and they keep my heated socks in place perfectly!

They are not tight enough and the drop-down clips are not long enough, needed to be above the knee.

Pictures don't do a good job explaining how this works, but it does a (very) good job in keeping the socks up, and is also comfortable to wear.

The leather strap is okay. But aluminum clips burrow through the skin after a few hours. I was left with painful blisters. Regretted buying these
