Piezo igniter Assembly Replacement Kit
How to Install a Piezo Igniter Set on your Grill, Stove, Heater?
This igniter kit can be used for any home gas appliance or outdoor heaters just need do some small modifications.
* The drilling mounting hose of your stove grill is necessary before you want to install this kit if your stove do not have current hole to insert the piezo.
* The electrode wire cable just 30cm long, so make sure it fits the installation position before ordering.
* The igniter cannot work if you do not connect the ground point to the plate of grill or connect ground wire.
The Ground Point is a Not A Terminal or Cable
The right picture show the ground connection line. Normally it installed on a metal plate of your grill, heater.
But if you do not have metal plate on your project, you can attach a metal piece or try to connect a cable to ground as well in this part.
So the igniter will work properly.
It can be worked for natural gas or propane.
Piezo igniter may need several times to push to ignite gas.

I had a battery pizzo starter on a propane heater and had to change batteries often so i installed this manual one. It was plug and play- the wire from the first fit the receiver on this product. Worked great.

Used this to update an old heater and it worked great, just took time to get the location and spark gap worked out. Since you get two the second will go on another project.

No more fooling with a battery. Easy installation and has considerable adjustment ability to length to position ignitor over gas manifold. Had to bend tip of ignitor using needle nose plyers to get it closer to manifold. Now ignites on first or second push of the button.

When I converted my BBQ to Natural Gas from propane my flawless working LP piezo igniter did not work as NG is much harder to ignite than LP. After positioning this replacement igniter, advertised to work with NG several different places in and around the stream of NG, it simply does not work. The instructions are that the base of the igniter (not the button switch) needs to be grounded (although they say it in an obtuse way) to the metal housing of the appliance. Well if you are in contact with the housing (knee other hand, etc.) and push the button prepare for a 20kv shock (not fun). Likely this is not a UL or CE certified device and should not be sold.

I got this for our Outland fire bowl and I'd buy it again but I'd install it differently. Underneath the firebowl there's a bottom cover. There's a round hole in that cover near the burner assembly, obviously there for an ignitor. So I drilled out in the center of that existing hole and as you see in the other picture the business ignitor is too close to the edge of the burner. In my case it sparks across from the ceramic to the burner and works, not always on first click. I'm gonna leave it alone but if I had a do-over i'd pick a spot and drill from the top, probably on the opposite side of the burner tube. It was a pain but worth it.

One ignighter not sending spark to sparkers and both sparkers sparking at base and not at tip I still have one red button ignitor in machine its a lot of work to remove it so can you charge me for that and I'll return the other 3 peices or do you need all four returned please advise

Used it to replace the electronic one (junk) on my 1 year old bbq that only lasted about 6 uses.Works every time. Has already outlasted the original.I would buy this again, but there were two in the pack so I expect they will outlast the bbq anyway.
