I purchased this bed for my son as it had the trundle for sleepovers with siblings/friends. After putting it together, I was happy with how easily it was to assemble and how sturdy it feels. It is pretty solid but not so heavy that it’s extremely difficult to move or put together. We ordered the Natural color and it looks very nice in the room it’s in. The instructions for assembly were pretty easy to follow and it overall took 1.5-2 hours to put together with a power drill. The trundle bed moves in and out from under the main bed easily with the installed wheels. The only qualm I had was the front piece on the trundle has some odd discoloration spots on it that were on the wood prior to it being sealed. I’ve reached out to Merax to see if this could be replaced as we are happy with the overall quality otherwise. I would recommend this bed frame for its overall quality, ease of assembly, and style.

As a young woman who is not physically strong by any means, after building, this bed made me invest in a tool set to help me on future endeavors. It’s sturdy and cute, what more could I ask for. My right hand hurts badly from building. From open box to finish point it was a full 2 hours. If you have built something before this would probably be very easy for you because instructions are very clear. It’s really heavy in the box so I had to carry piece by piece out of the box inside the house. Have to give it 5 stars because my 4 year old daughter is too excited for this “big girl bed!â€

We've had this bed for 7 months so far and have loved it SO much. The quality of the wood is just right and there is a coating on the wood to leave a smooth finish so I don't have to worry about my toddler getting splinters from it. There are roughly 10 slats to support the mattress so it's very sturdy and does not squeak at all for my daughter. I am able to get in the bed with her and have no concerns about it holding my weight, as well. The only downside to this bed, which is why I gave it 4 stars, is that the wood for the drawers were completely different from the rest of the bed. I had seen this comment on a few reviews prior to purchasing this bed but decided to hope for the best. It wasn't a wood that matched at all and would have looked pretty rough so we decided to go without the drawers which I personally like the look of better. Overall, I would have given 5 stars if the drawers looked better but it's definitely 5 stars if the drawers are excluded from my review. Highly recommend if you want a decently priced, good quality bed like this for your toddler.

Lightweight but sturdy. Perfect first big kids bed. Big enough to roll anywhere and secure with all around fence for safety. We love the entrance and easily throw a cover over to make a fort and add LED lights. No missing parts. Easy to assemble. Functional for toddlers. All screws in holes match as exact.

The bed is sturdy and cute, but it took us hours to build due to manufacturing issues with the parts. One of the wooden parts was cut incorrectly so my husband had to saw down the part in order for it to fit. Also, some of the screws had metal in the head of the screw so they were unusable. We contacted the manufacturer and all they could offer was to send a new bed, but we had already spent hours building this one so it was not worth it to us.
