Very pleased with this purchase. Love the red/burgundy color. Went with the heavier 320 weight and it’s warm and comfortable for winter. Layers perfectly with a down vest or jacket for cold winter days. Great quality. Will likely buy another in a different color. Washed in cold water and air dried overnight.

Great quality, great fit, super warm, super comfortable. I use it on backpacking trips mostly and I've worn it with a moisture wicking polyester underneath and a rain jacket on top in 20 degree weather and felt very comfortable. It does soak up a ton of sweat and can get a little heavy so keep that in mind.

Just received this shirt yesterday. Online it was described as washer and dryer safe, the information with the shirt says do not dry. So I only gave it 4 stars. I guess time will tell about that. Otherwise it fits well, seems well made, is comfortable, and has all the features that makes merino wool such a great fabric. Wore this shirt with a down vest outdoors in 30 degree weather to shovel snow and was very comfortable. It is warm and breaths very well. Might I suggest adding a touch of spandex to the fabric so it helps retain its shape over the long haul. I normally wear XL tall, since that was not available I ordered 2XL. It is a little, not a lot, on the snug size. Maybe making it available in tall sizes too? If it does not shrink the length is good, if it does shrink a bit not so good. The weight is fine, price is lower than similiar shirts so that makes me a little nervous.If it does not shrink I will buy more. The bonus socks are very nice also.

250 Charcoal Grey - Seldom give 5 stars but this is deserving. This is the 2nd shirt I've bought from Merino.tech in a week. This half zip shirt is just as good as the short sleeve shirt they make. Very (super) soft. I'd say that it is between light and medium weight. I really like that the shirt has a long waist and arms. A huge plus. The company really seems to stand behind their cloths. They provide an insert that explains the shirt and how to take good care of it. Quality for the price just cannot be beat!

Love the comfort of this top and bottom. The zip top closes almost like a mock turtleneck and is quite comfy. Wool does occasionally itch a bit, but the warmth it brings is more than worth it! Great for sleeping or as a base layer. As a tall man, I can say it fits ankles and cuffs well — and doesn’t ride up. Definitely an indispensable item for winter.

I have been a loyal customer of this product, having purchased two last year and been somehow satisfied with their quality. Last year’s items were good enough , and they held up well over time, despite not including the amount of merino wool I expected.However, my recent purchase has been a letdown. This time, the product seems to contain a significantly higher amount of synthetic materials than last year, which contradicts the 100% natural claim made in the advertisement. The feel is noticeably inferior compared to the previous versions I bought.Considering the increased use of synthetic materials, I believe the price point of $47 is no longer justified. Given the lower quality, the product should be priced closer to half of what I paid. I hope the manufacturer can address these quality issues in future batches, as I would like to return to enjoying the reliable products I initially loved.

Very impressed with this base top. It fits very comfortably and is plenty long enough below the waist to keep the heat in. The collar is just the right height to keep your neck warm but not too high to become annoying. The length in the arms is perfect. I own Icebreaker and Arc’teryx tops but this one fits me best for less money. Will be purchasing again in different colours. Highly recommended.

Just buy it.I bought merino tech last year and it’s still looks like new. Warm, comfortable. Pricy a bit but it worth money.

These are SUCH better value than so many merino products out there. I was super pleased with the fabric, fit and quality. The sox are awesome too. Bought some long-johns also, based on the incredible quality of this half zip shirt. What a nice surprise when buying clothing on-line. Really happy with the quality of this shirt.

Great product, winter weather it’s minus 5 Celsius and I am comfortable. Saw on line bout getting one size up for what your normal size is, this was very helpful hint.

Comfortable and warm, loooong sleeves so they reach into the gloves, half zip is longer than on others so it's easy to put on. True to size. Collar could be a tad higher. Overall, very satisfied.
