ordered the XL -- Im's 6'2", 225. Fit is true to size. the hoodie is stretchy and very breathable. it's warm, yet temperature-regulating, so you don't overheat nor get too cold, even during active use.This is a very technical garment that is geared toward athletic activity. it's a wool-poly-spandex blend, that is highly efficient in mosture wicking. it has raglan sleeves for freedom of movement and an athletic cut that fits next to skin. it's soft and not at all itchy. there are two zip pockets, a full-length 2-way zipper, and a hood with elastic binding. the hood is double-sided but uninsulated nylon. because the hood is nylon and starts just below the chin, it can function as a wind-resistant neck protector when zipped up, even without putting the hood on over your head.the jacket's thick dense weave also offers some wind-resistance while still being breathable. you won't be able to layer anything more than a base layer under this because the fabric is so thick and the cut is tight against the body. the good news is, you won't need to.this is at least a 3-season jacket, maybe even 3.5. by itself, it should be able to take on spring and fall weather with ease, as well as cooler or windier summer nights. in the winter, it can layer under a hardshell or down vest. think of it as a softshell with a bit more breathability and a bit less water-resistance. it's not 100% windproof but it is wind-resistant. you probably wont feel chilly at wind gusts under 15mph. it's also stylish --there's a tonal Metarino logo at the left chest -- but more sporty than dressy. i plan to use it for hiking, biking, active walking, and just hanging out.Recommended for those that need technical hoodies that balance warmth, breathability, and stretchiness. overall, a very functional piece of kit. price is acceptable for the quality. A 100% merino hoodie typically costs a bit more but those tend to be much thinner. the blended fabric is smooth to the touch and offers high wicking ability for its thickness.

First of all the Merino wool is extremely soft to the touch this is an extremely comfortable garment second of all this item is absolutely perfect for hiking biking every outdoor activity possible or just everyday general use I was concerned about the sizing when I purchased this reading one review that says that it's overly big and another one that says that it was dramatically small the sizing to me I am 5'10 190 lb and because of the review I decided to go with a medium thinking that it was going to be oversized the medium fit me but it was tight in the waist and in the sleeves I would honestly say that the sizing is true to standard sizes a large fits a large if you wear a large and a medium fits medium and the way the fit and finish of this garment from the thumb hole in the sleeve fit perfectly on your hand and easily use gloves on top of it or just use it to cover partial on your hand so that way your hands are kept warm the zippers seem to be high quality and the hoodie is more form fitting so that you can layer up with mid layers or an outer shell I would absolutely recommend this product it is crazy good value for the money spent it's definitely worth every penny I have the one in black I'm definitely going to buy the one in green again I'm 5'10 190 lb average athletic build and the large fits me perfect

Received my army green hoodie. Noticed when tried to put it on that an xl size was too tight. I wear xl and they always are oversized on me. I then noticed the zipper is on the left side of the garment instead of the right. The right side is the correct side for men’s wear. This hoodie has the zipper on the left which is for women’s wear. If you view the photo of the model wearing the hoodie unzipped you will see the zipper is on the left. The material thickness would be great as a base layer under another jacket for winter. The fabric contains 50% merino wool which helps keep the hoodie light weight but at the same time to keep you warm.

I got this for my husband for Christmas and it is past New Years and he hasn't gone one day without wearing this jacket. It is structured yet the fabric is also forgiving. He wears it over a t-shirt or even over another merino jacket and loves how comfortable and warm it is. The cut is very slimming and it is true to size. He wears a large in all top and this fits perfectly.

This is a very good hoodie, a good fit and super warm.it's just that it's big in size.before ordering i read that one comment saying it runs small. well it's a wrong comment - this jacket runs big.i usually order L in Merino products - decided to take M and it feels like XL in size. Big.But on the other hand, being a little big is also good because in winter time i wear layers so it will be handy to have a bigger size.

I've been buying Chrome Cobra hoodies for the last 10+ years but the quality has steadily declined and they're now a merino blend so I was looking for something different. This is a similar blend and fit to the Chrome hoodie, and at a glance seems to be of good quality so I'm pleased. As mentioned in other reviews these do run big so order a size down.
