I’ve become a huge fan of merino wool. It’s a versatile fabric, soft and comfortable, durable and odor resistant. It occurred to me that a sock for sports like tennis would be a game changer, especially because well-made tennis socks are $15-$20/pair and usually made of a variety of synthetic fabrics. I found these merino socks in white and figured I’d try them for tennis. What a revelation. They’re super comfortable, form fitting, and hold their shape. And the price is really good comparatively. The only downside is they can’t go in the dryer. They have to be air dried. Otherwise, highly recommended!

For the limited time I have had these socks, I am very pleased with the quality. They are warm but breathable. I chose these for the percentage of merino wool in the design and I’m happy I did. I will look to this company for quality and functional merino based items in the future.

I haven’t purchased anything from this brand before. It’s entirely possible that their other offerings or even the “same†socks in a single pair option are superior.Some background: I’m trying to get in more time outside, walking, taking up running (again), specifically in cold weather, and one thing I’ve realized is that socks matter. Like, really matter. So this review will mostly tackle the issues relating to physical activity and how they fit (or don’t) on foot or in shoes and how they function.You get the warning that the 3-pack runs large. Okay, I’m still willing to give it a shot before forking over the same amount of money for this 3-pack as one pair of the tried and true, well-known brands. Depending on the shoe and the activity type, I wear a women’s size (US) 7-8. I ordered the smallest size available. They fit well from the ankle up, but that’s about all I can say as a positive on fit. And I have skinny calves, so what fits for me may be too tight for others. Just about all around the foot itself, they’re huge on me. Toe box area is specifically problematic. There’s no way I’d be able to wear these in any well-fitting shoe without feeling a heck of a whole lot of bunching and slippage.Out of the bag, which is unmarked for size or any other relevant information, they are not soft at all. Itchy and scratchy. I have sensitive skin, and feel as though they are nearly as rough as sandpaper. I’m still willing to give them a shot via washing, hoping for some softening and shrinkage, but I kind of doubt I’ll be all that successful. What I know is that these will probably only be suited to wearing around the house without shoes, but if they do not soften up, I’ll be left with no use for them at all.I’m not a hiker, so these may be better suited for that. Perhaps with liner socks they may work, but again I have no experience to really comment on that.They are midweight imo, some mesh paneling that is very thin of course, but otherwise relatively thick and cushioned.Maybe those with larger feet could work with these, but only if they are able to tolerate the texture / feel. Again, they are not soft. Not the ones I received, anyway. I’m not all that experienced in wool as of yet, so maybe these things are relatively normal at this price point, but with the cold weather and the goal of getting outside comfortably, while wearing shoes, I highly doubt they’ll work for me.Yes, they’re warm. But, at least for the ones that come in the 3-pack, that’s just about the only positive thing I can say. Not really worth the hassle of returning, and the hope is that I’ll be able to use them at all, but I would certainly not purchase again.

Comfortable warm socks. Totally no wool itch like some other wool products!I'm wearing them now. Keeps my feet warm with no sweating.

Love these socks.The most comfortable socks I have ever worn. The wool content helps keep my feet dry and I don’t get as much arthritis pain from the damp cold temps in my region.1 of the socks did have some stitching come apart the 1st time I wore it so I will find out how they back them shortly.
