This buckle is excellent! Slim form factor so it doesn’t add to the bulk around your pack, but it’s still very strong. The quick release design makes for something that is easily removable but not so much that you might inadvertently open it. I used it to replace a buckle on a waist bag that I use with about 10lbs of gear in it. It was a MAJOR upgrade!

I bought this to replace a broken buckle on my fanny pack. The original was significantly lighter, but it was plastic and failed fairly early into my ownership. I considered just replacing the entire fanny pack, as it was still well within the first thirty days, but figured the replacement would be the same questionable plastic and would probably fail just as quickly as the original. So, instead, I found a replacement buckle and this is it. The weight of the buckle surprised me, but so did its' strength. So far, it has held tight and given me no reason to doubt it. I knocked one star off for the heft, but that's only if you're sensitive to that sort of thing. I am not, and so would easily see the other star put back, but some people might find the weight a significant obstacle. Either way, there you go.

Durable and well made buckle. Replaced the broken plastic buckle on my Mystery Ranch pack. It was very easy to swap out.

I purchased a cheap backpack and added this buckle as a chest strap to it. Works as expected and has a nice weight to it. Seems very durable and works perfectly for my purpose. Arrived on time and without damage in shipping. I like that I can move it around to add other things any time to my backpack.

Buckle would not fully lock. It took repeated manual manipulation and oil to loosen up the action but after that…it functioned as intended. I got what I paid for. No complaints.

I was restoring a set of screen used costumes from a major TV show that I had one at auction. One of the costumes came with a belt complete with buckle, but screen used stuff takes a beating and the other one was missing the buckle. After some research I determined that this was the brand used.The product fit perfectly and looks awesome, even on an outfit of a security officer who is allegedly defending the galaxy 300 years in the future.

Bought it for the rucksac I use in the military. Sometimes It weights about 80lbs and after replacing twice my regular plastic waist belt buckle that kept broking I looked on amazon for something more sturdy. I found this and I'm not desapointed. It's easier to tighten and I can tight it more. I feel It's rock solid. For me it's worth the 20$CAD (2inch)
