It's a good unit, for the price, imo. the screws for assembly are cheap, so I used some medium Locktite on them and tightened them with a Makita bit driver and used a torque bit. If these screws fail, you can always drill out the holes and put stronger small bolts on the cast bottom with a lock nut on them. Besides it has little feet on the bottom legs and you can add something round and flat if you want for even more stability easy enough like a more expensive unit has which I am likely to do. I like it. As they say: It'll Do.

Hoof Stand was easy to assemble. But there were two different types of screws on the hoof stand, Phillips and a torque type screw. The Phillips were already screwed in, but the self screwing torque screws were not. I didn’t have the proper type driver for it. I wish it had been included. The hoof cradle was well made and appeared to be comfy for the horse. The straight up stand as well had some padding on it. The adjustable cradle was very easy to unclip and slide off and put the straight up stand back on. The three legged base was sturdy and with a foot on the base would be extra hard to turn over. Overall, I gave it 5 stars because of the ease of use and the heaviness and good weld. Hope this is helpful!

This hoof jack is sturdy, but tips over fairly easily. It probably would not suit the needs of a professional farrier because it tips easily, but for my needs it's fine. I have a 17 HH horse and it is easily adjustable for his height. I will definitely need to beef up the padding on both inserts, but that isn't a deal breaker. A pool noodle and a tennis ball should do the trick.

I like this stand it is relatively light but still sturdy and the hoof holder part has a nice covering on it

I would highly recommend this product. The quick change hoof/leg rest works very well. The stand is light enough to tote around all day yet sturdy enough to handle more than a little abuse from fidgety horses.

product works good but a downfall i found is you have to watch out because it tips extreamly easy with the leg design and thats not very good when you have a animals hove on it
