The mailbox is as described. It has a nice shiny finish and was easy to install. The business size and the legal-size envelopes fit in without any problems, and that is the important mail I receive. The only drawback, if you want to call it that, is that some of the endless junk mail does not fit in it. I think that is a blessing rather than a drawback. I am pleased with this item.

Cute little mailbox comes with a key I’m not sure that it will hold up any large mail bc the box itself is the size of a regular size envelope

I was looking for an outdoor box to receive the bills from the water and electric company. Where I live the city hand delivers the utilities bills. Normally the stick inside my fence, but it always falls out or gets wet. So I went on Amazon searching for a small box that I could install on my fence post column when I came across this lockable style and decided to order it.Once it arrived I was impressed with the functionality and build. I don't think it can be used for envelopes. It is very easy to install with the hardware provided. It comes with 2 keys and is very simple to open and close. Normal letter style paper 8.5 x 11 folded can be inserted with out problems or getting stuck. For what I was looking for it works perfect.

This mailbox is nicely constructed and nicely finished. Unfortunately, it's not designed for use in the United States.The mail slot is entirely too small and will only accept small stationery and thank you cards.It would be ideal as perhaps a suggestion box or if your child receives an inordinate amount of Valentine's cards at school, but it is simply not functional for use as a mailbox.

This is smaller than I expected but is very well made and secure when locked. Comes with mounting screws and keys. Color is accurate.
