Design: These Nails are Designed to simulate the hand forged nails of the late 1700's. The head is three sided and the nail has a tapered shaft with a black oxide coating. Ideal for authentic restoration and antique effect.
High Quality Steel: These RoseHead Nails are forged of High Quality Steel which offers some of the highest forms of strength, making it last longer than other hardware on the market today.

My wife used these in a jewelry project. Don’t get them wet as the paint will bleed the first couple of rinses. After a good polish/wash they stop bleeding. Quality is good. They look great!

Excellent choice to make repairs on any antique furniture. Anyone can see the difference between cast nails and forged ones. Repairs look corre t because they are.

They are solid iron old world nails. A little pricey, but you are getting a specialty product that is likely hand made at least in part. So I can’t gripe too much.

Only received 24, however one was mangled and unusable, so I'm down to 23 usable nails. Nails are not Wrought Iron! Much better deal on similar nails at Lee Valley.
