Design: These Nails are Designed to simulate the hand forged nails of the late 1700's. The head is three sided and the nail has a tapered shaft with a black oxide coating. Ideal for authentic restoration and antique effect.

Used for wedding (rustic) and loved the result. Great quality. I did get a little of the black finish on my hands but was minimal and didn’t change the color of the nails. Pre drilled the holes to make it easier to put in the wood.

These are really nice replicas of antique nails. They are nicely coated, and haven’t yet rusted with our use of them. We use them in our kitchen to hang copper pots from the holes in the pot handles. The aesthetic really works great. My only advice is to be really sure where you want these nails because due to their nature and size they will leave a larger hole when they are pulled out

Not sure I want to use these in my walls. They are quite thick and gets thicker as you hammer more nail into the wall b/c of the graduated thickness.

I bought for an outside for a decorative post and beam application and being black oxided, that usually means it will last in the weather. This is what most car nuts and bolts are. One rain storm and covered in rust. I will have to sand and paint to prevent. The nails however do look bada__!
