I have a wine cellar of about 500 bottles, and I have always improvised at the point where I enter a bottle’s data into my database. This little stand allows me to get the label details from anything between a magnum and a Sauternes split, holds the bottle securely, and imposes zero overhead in placing a bottle for data entry. I should have done something like this years ago. As simple as a brick, nicely finished, and inexpensive.

I needed something to hold my magnum wine bottle. I wasn’t sure if this would hold it in the proper direction that it should actually be stored (cork down not as shown in the photos in the advertisement). I placed it cork down and it rests in the stand perfectly and is quite sturdy!

I use this in the refrigerator r an open bottle with a cork to avoid leaks. Also for bottle too tall to fit on shelves.

This is one of the best little gadgets I've purchased. Got a new refrigerator and the shelves can't be arragned to be tall enough to set my bottle of wine (I buy the 1.5 liter) and we've always heard that laying them slanted was best anyway, so these let me lay my wine bottles at the perfect slanted angle in my frig. I recommend.

It actually takes up less space in the fridge than the stackable plastic bottle holders. It’s because the bottles are at an angle and you can put stuff under the front of the bottles. These are also great for screw top bottles which occasionally leak when on their sides.
