I am making homemade lava lamps which require a spring coiled in the bottom to function properly. After much searching / trial & error, I have settled on these springs as the ideal solution. If they are not long enough, they are easily soldered together using acid flux & Silver solder.

I bought these to upgrade a set of perimeter alarms I bought From (china) that has terrible springs !! I was able to cut 4 springs out of each of these !! & now I have replacements just in case !! Nice quality springs
