I bought to wear to a 1920's themed dinner. It fits fine. Comfortable. Looks high end. I bought the black and pink although it looks more like beige and black but I still like it a lot. I'm 5 foot 8. 170lbs bought XXL to make sure it wasn't skin tight and it's a good fit. It has no zipper to mess with , which is also a plus with me. I also purchased a black fringed shawl which matches perfectly. Bead work is beautiful. Material is medium weight.

This dress looks even better in person. The sequins and beading details make this dress look expensive. I bought this for a dance costume. The fit is flattering while still allowing for movement.

I don't know where to start...I had a Christmas party coming up. A Big Deal - dress up. Not black tie, but dressy none-the-less. I like to go all out. I had run across this dress around Halloween time when I was researching a costume. I used to have a flapper dress back in the day and this one spoke volumes to me, just looking at it in Amazon.I NEVER buy clothing online. The fit is never guaranteed. This dress fit amazing. I am 5'8" and I weight 168, wear a D cup bra size and I ordered an X-large, just to make sure it would fit. I scoured the reviews and felt fairly confident that this would be the right size. OMG, it fit fantastic. Not tight, I didn't have to 'suck it up' all night (well, I did because I am that insecure, but I didn't have to 'suck it up' because the dress was tight).At the party, I ate, I drank and there was a lot of dancing. And I was comfortable. And I felt sexy and awesome. The dress itself is made pretty well. There were no dangling threads and at the end of the night, none of the sequins were falling off, and I really gave this dress a work out. I can't recommend this dress enough. AND - if I wanted to be a flapper for Halloween next year, I already have the dress.

This dress fit me perfectly, so the size chart was accurate in my case. It was pretty good quality for the price. It was a perfect flapper dress for the Halloween party I went to, and I got many compliments. My only disappointment was the color. I ordered “pink and black†and the online picture does look pink and black, but what I received was more like nude and black or ivory and black. I would have contacted the seller about it but I didn’t have enough time and I didn’t really care as the ivory/nude still looked pretty good. (I’m not sure if they shipped me the wrong color or if the dress is listed as pink but arrives as nude/ivory).

This dress far exceeded my expectations - especially for the price! I got the green one because I was drawn to it for some reason. (I normally don’t like green.) I am happy that I did; it is a gorgeous deep forest green that you normally don’t see on anyone. I wore it to a Halloween party and was the only flapper there, but I would imagine that this color would stand out at a theme party as well.It’s well-made; I had no issues with loose or lost beads. The fit was fantastic, but the dress felt stretchy, comfortable, and secure. The only thing to beware of is, as others have mentioned, that the actual fabric hem is short (so that the long fringe hem hits at the right length). I am 5’3â€, and I don’t recommend bending over too far for that reason. (The fringe hit just below the knee.) As a practical matter, be careful that your fringe doesn’t get caught in your undergarments if you use the restroom. (I was able to catch that issue before leaving, but I’d hate for someone else not to!)I’m looking for an excuse to wear this again!

This dress won! I bought about 10 from Amazon, in various styles and sizes, for a 1920s themed New Years party. I bought this one in size Medium. I am 5'7", pear-shaped, and approx 125 lbs. This dress hid all the bad spots of my body, and looked fantastic. The beading and sequins were lovely, and although fragile (as these details usually are), they held up wonderfully all night long. I hope I have many more occasions to wear this dress.For all the failures I'm about to list, I still highly recommend this dress! I'm just being thorough.It was a tad too low-cut at the chest. I'm a size B, so maybe it'll fit more busty women very well. It almost hung off the tips of my shoulders a bit strangely, but obviously that wasn't a deterrent. Generally, it wasn't form-fitting, and it wasn't too loose.Now, it should be noted that I was attempting to get an accurate-to-period fit, which is more loose than a modern fit. So, do keep that in mind. But, I also didn't want to look frumpy. If you want a modern fit, buy a size smaller (Small, in this case).The fringe hangs below my knees, and is in two layers (which I feel added a lot to the look), but the red lining only goes to my lower thigh. Keep that in mind when you're sitting! Cross those legs at the ankles... The materials were not stiff, and gave while in the process of sitting or rising. Last, but not least, the zipper was a necessity for getting this on and off! Luckily, I was able to _carefully_ get it on and off by stepping into it (I had my hair done hours before).

Auf der intensiven Suche nach einem Charlestonkleid habe ich mir ein Dutzend verschiedene Kleider bestellt - alles, was auch nur halbwegs gefiel und -noch wichtiger- halbwegs versprach, groß genug zu sein. Ich trage bei 1,70m Größe meist Kleidergröße 44-46. Üppige Figur mit Rundungen überall inklusive Bauch. Dieses Kleid war eines der wenigen, in die ich hinein gepasst habe, allerdings war es leider zu groß. Da nach meiner Erfahrung mit asiatischen Größen gilt: immer das größt-möglcihe bestellen zu groß gibt es nicht, habe auch diesmal die größte Größe geordert: 4XL. Das war leider zu viel des Guten, ich schätze mal 1-2 Nummern. Könnte also eine 48 sein. Das Kleid ist wie alle von mir bestellten sehr hochwertig, schwer und schick. Die Fransen schwingen schön beim Gehen, die Perlen und Pailletten funkeln. In uni-grün sieht es toll aus! Ich kann das Kleid sonst nur empfehlen.

Das Kleid ist schön gemacht, wirkt aber eher wie ein Kleopatrakostüm, für meinen Geschmack zuviel des Guten. Die Paßform ist gut, sehr günstig der Preis.

Lovely dress for a 1920 function. Looks well made although I have not worn it yet. Good fit true to measurement size. I am a size 12 but ordered a 14 once I had checked the measurements. Not too long I am 5ft 4 ins and the fringe is mid calf so if you want it shorter buy the smaller sizes like other people have suggested.
