This harness certainly makes wiring in a new head unit exponentially easier. However, as stated in other reviews, it does not have steering wheel control (SWC) wires. Considering most people use METRA's ASWC-1, you would think they provide support for their own product... not the case. If you want to install a SWC adapter purchase two of these harnesses and scavenge wires from the second connector. Also, I tried contacting Metra customer service to find out what the pins were so that I could make my own wires for the SWC, but their only response was "we do not support steering wheel control wires with this part".... no crap, that's why I was asking what size the pins were.+5 for being plug and play/preventing splicing factory harness- 1 star for not having SWC control wires/ support for their own ASWC-1- 1 star for lazy customer service+ 1 star for being a cheap $5.45 Ad-on item from AmazonAll things considered, I highly recommend this so that you don't have to splice your factory harness, however go in knowing that you will need to add SWC wires.NOTE: As it turns out if you don't have a pin-out tool, a bobby pin works perfectly to extract pins. I used a pair of pliers to crush/break off the little bulb at the end of the bobby pin. If you don't have a girlfriend or wife who leaves bobby pins all over, ask a female friend, to "borrow" one.

I will admit, I was a little weary at first when comparing the wires on this to the wires in the car (it didn’t seem to line up). However, a little multimeter work quickly removed doubt, and about a 30 minutes of soldering later, I was able to install the Atoto F7 without issue into a 2011 Nissan Xterra S.

Wires were all there, easy to strip wires back for connection, no loose wiring. Solid harness. Highly recommended

This harness worked as needed and fits the description of my car but! But, remember that if it’s not a Subaru model car, this harness will NEED to be grounded to a metal frame to ensure that it is grounded firmly. NOTE* this is very important because it does not have a self grounding wire to this.

Installed in my 08 WRX with Pioneers 4100 NEX.Had to buy 2 of these and use the super thin metal SIM card pin that came with my phone (Galaxy S7 to be specific) to remove the wires from the extra harness.I did this because this particular harness doesn't come with wires that the Metra Axxess ASWC-1 requires and I didn't want to wait forever for a custom made one from ae64 (subaru guys know who this is). For my particular model of 08 WRX (no nav, no bluetooth steering controls) I only needed to add wires to pin locations 4 and 14. I re-used the blue/white and white/black wires (wiring color notations: main color/stripe color).

I used it for a Rogue 2008 and it works ok. However, read the instructions online as it can be tricky to connect the wheel controls without an adapter.

Para una frontier 2012 pro4x no me funcionó ya que trae dos conectores y hasta que la desarmé me di cuenta

It was easy to match up my after market radio to this, just had to join up the colours. As well, the wires have a print to identify them in case colour coding doesn't line up for your harness.
