I had some of these hooks previously and needed a few more. My originals were black and I missed that these were silver but function as they should, so color no big deal. They do what I need.

I was worried about the other reviews saying they didn't snap into place and they were loose around the rod. These ended up being the perfect solution. They slid over the wire shelf easily and once in place I used a pair of pliers to tighten them up a little. When I put the closet rod in place I tightened that end up a little also.The closet rod is stable, doesn't shift and the fasteners are sturdy enough to hold all my coats.This was an awesome purchase!

Plenty sturdy for my use. The top part that hooks over the wire of your shelving isn't tight enough to actually "snap" on but after putting them where I want them, they don't come off when I lift items on and off.I have wire cubbies (UNICOO organizer) in a closet and am using these to hold items like clothing/bags on the outside of the unit. The cost at $1.40+ per hook seems a little pricey, but I'm more than satisfied with their size, strength and usefulness.

These are good sturdy little hooks. The picture makes them look like they have a darker finish but they’ve got a silver finish. They’re a little loose and sloppy on the rail but they don’t fall off easily like a regular S hook would.

Contrary to what other reviewers have been saying, they do snap on, and they do a good job of holding. They are not a particularly robust metal, so all you have to do is squeeze the top together before you put them on the shelf. They will snap on with a reassuring click and do not fall off. I have two sets of wire shelving in my kitchen, and they do a great job of holding utensils and implements.The downsides. You can tell from the picture that they present a wide profile. As a result, they will not hold things that have small holes.I have a set of All-Clad Pro utensils, and they work just fine. However, for many other utensils, they simply will not work. Also, as you can also see from the picture, these are not super heavy duty hooks. Consider what you are going to be hanging on them. Your dutch oven will probably deform the hook over time.I wish they would come out with some that present a narrower profile for my gadgets with smaller holes, but I knew what I was getting when I ordered these, and they do an admirable job.

These are perfect for the wire shelves in my pantry. Sturdy, easy to install, and versatile. This was a lucky find when I wasn’t even looking. Darn you, Amazon, for making impulse buying so easy.

I was happy to find these online, as I couldn't find anything in a brick & mortar. I'm using them. Overall are ok and strong enough for the job. Disapointed the edges ALL the way around were not smoothed. For some reason both ends were left rough. Kind of irritating. Apparently not same brand I had purchased in a store 5 years ago.
