The design of the chair is great. The only negative for us was that the chair is very low to the ground we overcame that by doubling both the chair and back cushions and purchasing cushion covers to make the whole thing unify. Chair quality is good. Since the chairs we purchased are for when we have company it works.

So this is a very comfortable chair; however, it's low to the ground. Lower to the ground than I anticipated for example, so if you are older than let's say 50, you might have troubles getting in and out of it due to how low to the ground it sits. For that reason it's not in the original room I planned on it being in and got moved to my son's play room, which he loves it. Like I said, it is comfortable to sit in. The cushion is well padded and it rocks easily and it's a nice sturdy and heavy chair. Just very low to the ground.

I haven't seen a rocker that looks quite like this one. I like the sleek, simple lines, and the fact that it's low to the ground. It's also lightweight, so it's easy to move from room to room as needed. The rocker did need some assembly, which was reasonably easy to accomplish. It arrived well-packaged, in good condition and with all parts included. I consider the rocker comfortable, plush cushions with a soft corduroy upholstery (I got the green). It doesn't have arms, however, if that's important to you. While some might find the rocker a little too close to the ground, I particularly like it. I'm not very tall, and I find a footstool is unnecessary; I can just stretch my legs out comfortably and rock back and forth. The rocker is a bit of a conversation starter, so be prepared. :-) It's a fun piece in any room. Recommended.
