Monitor your 12v battery voltage and load current with an easy-to-install, 2-in-1 digital voltmeter / ammeter. Simply mount into a 1-1/8" hole, tighten the plastic nut, and connect your power source, ground, and electrical load.

EASY TO USE
Designed for low-voltage DC power supplies. Wire (+) and (-) pins to the battery, with the middle pin going to the negative side of your load.

These meters are great for many applications. I usually buy the ones that are much deeper and have a USB socket, but the design, diameter and material are identical. 1 limitation that should be fixed is that in many contexts: MC, Car, scooter, rechargable battery powered device both + and - Amps are essential, and are also helpful for volts. Consider an analog Ammeter with 0 at top. I think the Amp pickup might need to change, but adding this ability would make this a 5+ meter (not -5...0...5 lol)

Works great but I hoped to use it in a model train transformer. When you switch directions, it reads only in one direction.

Couldn't get current to work, but voltage is good.Ran positive to positive, negative to negative, and attached output to the power bar. Nothing.As it turns out, it was a rather silly, unneeded addition to a small project, so I didn't sweat it.

Easy to install, easy to read, agreed fairly closely to a quality DMM reading so seems to be accurate (accurate enough for our requirements anyways - we didn't need to calculate the accuracy error but measurements were very close to our DMM readings). Would use again should a project arise.
