I had to get a brand new microphone (PreSonus Revelator) after my primary mic died right in the middle of a project, but when I attempted to attach the new mic to my Rode PS1+ mic arm, I realized there wasn't enough clearance to plug in the cable. This was exactly what I needed, fixed the problem completely in seconds. Good quality, sturdy metal, good quality finish, feels like it will last me and blends in perfectly with the Rode arm AND the mic.

Bought to use on the "InnoGear Microphone Arm Stand, Heavy Duty Mic Arm" to attach my Shure SM7B mic. Works great, easy to install & fits, and the material seems to be good quality.

I needed a slightly taller microphone stand, but I wanted a cheaper solution than getting a new one. This Boseen extension worked perfectly. It feels absolutely solid, too.I would have bought Shure's extension because of their established reputation, but it has a shiny finish that looks bad with the typical satin finish of most mic stands and accessories. The Boseen finish is a satin that blends well. I am very satisfied.

Shure also sells a version of this for the sm7b however this is cheaper and I can't imagine their piece of metal is better than this piece of metal. It works. Comes with some adapter pieces if you need them.
